- This warm and cosy cottage enjoys a peaceful position in the rural village of Hade Edge, perfect for a couple wanting a country escape. Enjoying scenic views over Boshaw Whams Reservoir and the surrounding countryside, you can take a quick stroll to the local country pub and delight in a pint of ale or a home-cooked meal. The vibrant town of Holmfirth is under 2 miles away where you can explore the many independent shops, cafes and bars on offer. Made famous by The Last of The Summer Wine TV series, this fantastic town boasts much to see and do. Enjoy a show at the infamous Picturedrome or take a tour around the town's very own vineyard. Ideally located for walkers and cyclists alike, the Trans Pennine Trail is easily reached from the cottage. The breathtaking scenery of the Peak District National Park is only 1 mile away offering spectacular views and countless walks and cycling opportunities.
Step into this charming home-from-home and leave your coats and muddy boots in the entrance porch after a day exploring the local area. The cosy lounge/diner provides the perfect space to cuddle up on the sofa and watch a movie on the Smart TV with your loved one. Light the gas fire for extra warmth and ambience on a chilly winter’s evening and enjoy the splendid views over the surrounding countryside. The kitchen is quaint and offers everything you need to rustle up a hearty meal. A flight of stairs leads up to a comfortable double bedroom with a handy dressing room next door and here you will also find the house shower room.
At the front of the property is a small, enclosed patio with seating for two to enjoy a morning coffee whilst looking over the reservoir.
