Hi Jay,Thanks for taking the time to review Irton Hall & I am disappointed you have rated us so poorly.As discussed with you when you were on site, you booked a 2 bedroom cottage. The images are clear from the advert, that there is a staircase involved. The listing is actually described as a "cottage" which in itself indicates stairs are involved. We have children/babies/toddlers stay weekly and stairs have never been an issue. The Expedia representative also advised you when you argued for a refund, that it clearly states on the listing that stairs are in the property.The smell of damp was only raised after you were advised you can't have a refund due to stairs, the property was also thoroughly inspected and no smell or signs of damp were discovered.Whilst your review is inaccurate, I still appreciate your visit & hope to welcome you back in the future.Kind Regards,Irton Hall
