Powell's Hideaway è una casa costruita su misura da 2950 metri quadrati situata in un quartiere tranquillo a poca distanza dal centro di Homer. The house was clean and very well stocked. It’s located in a great location just out of Homer where we got the pleasure of seeing a mother moose and her calf. Overall I would tell anyone who is visiting the Homer area that they would make a great choice renting this property.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Powell’s Hideaway in Homer. The house had everything we needed to enjoy our stay in Homer. We were lucky enough to have a moose visit in the yard! Nicolle and Matt are excellent hosts! Very easy to communicate with before our stay!! Highly recommend staying at Powell’s Hideaway!!

There was plenty of room for the grandkids to run around. One evening a mother moose and her very young calf came running out of the trees ran across the yard and went back into the trees on the other side of the yard while we were sitting on the back porch. The grandkids talked about them for two days.

Modern and well appointed and quiet. We used it as a base while fishing. A great place to unwind after a day on the water.

A group of us from around Anchorage got together for a friends wedding in Homer. I've stayed here before and enjoyed the house. It's a great place to stay and has all the necessary amenities. I recommend staying here for any vacation time in beautiful Homer. Thanks for letting us stay and we'll definitely be back in the future.

We were a group of 8 traveling from Minnesota and this place did not disappoint. Matt and Nicole, the owners were fantastic in every aspect you can imagine. Communication was top notch. The amenities were endless. Everything was beautiful, from the layout of the house to the patio outside. I would recommend this house to anyone traveling to Homer. It’s a 5 star all the way. Nice property. Comfortable. On demand hot water was a little slow but good when it got to open faucet. Would have been nice to have a few more back deck chairs to enjoy the evening on. A step down to the yard would have been nice as well. No fire pit???

Easy access, well kept, clear instructions. Could use some blackout shades. Mosquitoes were super bad. It’s Alaska in summer, but we stayed other places where it wasn’t an issue. Must be the area. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

4 adult couples stayed very comfortably in this cabin. We went sightseeing and halibut fishing visited winery and the spit.
