Fabulous kitchen

We enjoyed the comfort of the home. Cooking dinner for a big family was a breeze in the well appointed kitchen. Back deck was very spacious.

Guys Weekend

This house was perfect for us. It was close to our activities and located in a nice quiet neighborhood and very close to the lake. Hiking, biking and water sports are close by. The house was clean and well appointed with a large outdoor deck with a relaxing view. We will certainly stay here again.

We stayed at this house during January's holiday weekend. House is very warm, clean, kitchen is well equipped with pots,plates, cups and everything you need during your stay. Homewood ski resort is very close. Thanks, willing to come back.

Great trip

This is a lovely spacious house with a huge deck, seating for well over 20 people, a well stocked kitchen and comfortable rooms. We stayed for a weekend, for a family birthday BBQ with friends and family, and it was perfect for us. The owners were really quick to get back to us, we booked immediately, and everything was straightforward. They were fine with us having a family gathering at the house. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Chamberlands Retreat

The cabin is beautiful and feels very sturdy and well maintained. We were an adult family of seven and all fit very comfortably with the various sitting areas and so many bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook and entertain in. It has a large outdoor deck that we enjoyed eating our evening dinners out on. We are looking forward to staying there again, Harry was very responsive to any questions we had which we appreciated.

Excellent Cabin

We came here to celebrate my friend's birthday, everything in the house was nicely decorated, inside was clean and bright. You probably could find everything you want/need inside the cabin, whether from cookwares to bedding. It was a very nice experience staying at this property, and Harry was very friendly and responsive, he replied all my questions within few hours. Sure I will come back to this place in the future if I am visiting Tahoe again with my friends.

Clean, Spacious, Just as Advertised

Our extended family (6 adults, 4 kids, 1 small dog) had a great time here. Just as advertised, this property is very clean and spacious, and our party of ten stayed comfortably. The owners are nice and responsive. Snow on the driveway were timely plowed before our arrival. The kitchen is also spacious and well equiped. We will definitely be back in the future.

Great winter home

Great place! Very well stocked with everything you need. Great house layout for large groups, love the heated floors in the kitchen. Very clean with welcoming decorations throughout the house. Came with my son and friends to snow board at Homewood. The entry is perfect for winter gear staging. I look forward to coming in the summer to enjoy the deck and fire pit in the back yard.

Awesome week in beautiful place

Loved our week at this Chamberlands home. It was clean, fit our family perfectly, had an incredibly large back deck to enjoy breakfast and dinners on. Even had a private deck off the master for us to sit on at night and enjoy the stars as well as be away from the kids for a while. Walk was easy to get to the private beach and Chamber’s Bar & Grill. Definitely hope to return. Owner was wonderful to work with and super responsive.

Perfect Getaway Trip!

My eight friends and I stayed at this beautiful, cozy cabin for a short weekend getaway! We were very impressed with the home; it had many amenities and was very clean and comfortable. It was conveniently located to restaurants and the Homewood Ski Resort. We will definitely stay again when we visit West Lake Tahoe. Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Chapman!!!

Fourth of July at Lake Tahoe

We stayed at the Chapman House July 3-11, 2015. The house was very clean and well appointed. Our Group was 9 adults and there was plenty of space and privacy for everyone. We enjoyed all that Tahoe has to offer: Boating, Hiking, Casinos, and just hanging out on the beautiful deck. The Fourth of July at Tahoe is special, and to to watch the fireworks from the boat at Tahoe City is spectacular. Cabin Details, contacts, and availability of the owner were fantastic. I highly recommend this cabin for large summer groups Don Swanson

Great House!

The Chapman house is one of the best homes in chambers. It is well equipped for your every need especially the kitchen. Great floor plan with master suite on main floor and the other 4 bedrooms downstairs. Beautiful large deck with teak furniture adds another "room" to the home. Would rent again!!! Thanks so much. Great cabin, perfect location. Gets a little hot

Almost nothing but great things to say about this cabin. The location was perfect and had all the necessary bedrooms to give all 9 of us a bed. Beautiful upstairs deck for outdoor hanging. Access to nearby Chambers Landing beach. The only negative was that without AC, the upstairs master bedroom especially gets quite hot at night. Ditto for the downstairs bedrooms, though they are slightly cooler. Be prepared if coming during a hotter summer weekend. The owner was great - responded quickly to my questions and thorough with information. Provided everything we needed for an unforgettable weekend.
