“We spent the New Years holiday at Salty Bear cabin and had a lovely stay. While the cabin is charmingly rustic, it was not lacking in modern comforts. The heating worked well. Kitchen was well-appointed. Beds were cozy. Shower pressure was strong. Hot tub was perfect. There was one problem that came up at the beginning of our reservation but Renee handled it perfectly and didn’t allow it to ruin our stay. “The resort was on the older side. Typical of what you see and expect. Elevator glass missing. Hallway ceiling lamps torn, in room furniture has holes, cuts in the leather, outlets are worn and electrical devices ( iPad, laptop etc) need to be adjusted to have good contact to charge. Bathroom is very clean and modern! That’s the funny part? Hahaha Staffs were very friendly and accommodating! Here is the bottom line truth. If you are here to enjoy Tahoe… Hike, Ski, Casino etc….
