Beautiful waterfront home! 5 Kayaks provided, Ice Machine, Minutes to springs

Light, Bright, and beautifully appointed River Home that features 3BR, 2.5 BA starting with a King bed and master bathroom with shower and garden tub. There are 2 additional bedrooms one with a Queen bed an attached half bath and the other has a queen bed with water view. There is also a den with a TV and pull-out couch for extra sleeping or some quiet tv time. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the enclosed back porch or step outside to the covered area with rockers and lounger to take in the views. Enjoy your meals at the dock that has a picnic table, table and chairs and a swing to soak in the day! The dock has a boat lift and the canal is DEEP WATER ACCESS , it is also equipped with a commercial ice machine which is great to fill your coolers before a day on the boat and fish cleaning station for all your catches. This home has a gas grill to enjoy your catch of the day outside at the beautiful water from home. Enjoy the evenings with a fire-pit to relax and make s'mores while overlooking the water and create a great end of the day experience for the family.

The home is less than a 100 yards from the channel and a few minutes by boat or kayak to the Homosassa Springs. Less than a mile to the Homosassa State Park where you can see manatee, birds and the underwater fishbowl along with a Hippo and Florida native animals. There are also popular Grocery stores, Restaurants including the famous Crumps Landing, Marguerita Grill, Florida Cracker & Monkey island and Wild Sassa Taco food truck within a few miles from home. Wind down at the end of the day with a twisty treat ice cream stand located just minutes from the home. Also visit Downtown Crystal River for great shops and more great food just a short drive from the home. Home is located on a Quiet Corner Canal lot within a family friendly area . There are No Bridges allowing all type of boats direct access to river and ocean and local boat ramps are nearby.

Local marines offer pontoon boat rentals to take on the water, catch fish from the dock, or kayak over to Homosassa Springs with the kayaks provided. For the less adventurous just sit back and relax on the dock for the day and grill out your dinner on the porch. Smart Lock Access with digital key code created personally for each guest!

PARKING: Space for Two (2-3) vehicles and One (1) boat/trailer (boat trailer can be parked in rock area)- There are several public boat ramps in the area to launch boat

The perfect Springs retreat!

Absolutely the best VRBO in Homassasa

This home exceeded my expectations. We stay in Homassasa every year and this is the first home that I want to come back to. The house is very comfortable with all appliances and bathrooms in working order. The kitchen is well appointed. The property is great for fishing and easy access to the springs. The covered boat lift and dock and ice machine were also super useful. It rained one of the days and the kids enjoyed the variety of games the house had. The covered car porch was also great for a rainy day. I would stay here again.

Beautiful inside and out in a perfect location

The owner was super friendly and attentive. The home is clean and updated and fully stocked. The boat parking was under a cover with plenty of space. Ice machine was super convenient. Just around the corner from the spring. Definitely will be back!

Best spot on the river

We loved this property!! The location is perfect and close to everything in Homosassa by boat or car. The house is very clean, has a great layout, and is decorated so nicely. We love the outdoor seating and boat dock. I would absolutely recommend this property!

Best Trip!!!

An amazing place to stay! Owner was amazing and very responsive. Location was well suited for all activities. Yard was amazing with a great porch and outdoor space for playing or fishing or bird watching. We will be back again!

Beautiful property

Easy-to-use app to rent this property. Overall it was a great place, peaceful and well maintained. Host was easily accessible and got back in a timely manner. Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful waterfront property with all the amenities to go with it.

Perfectly relaxing

Home was very nice - looked just like the pictures, great decor and updated, and even bigger than expected. Beds were comfortable - even the pull-out couch bed had a foam mattress - and plenty of bathrooms. Loved the beautiful tile floors. Kitchen was big and well stocked. But honestly, we spent very little time inside, because the sunroom was The.Place.To.Be!!! Sat out there for coffee every morning, wine every night - water views from every angle. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful. We also enjoyed sitting out on the dock and did a little fishing… and we kayaked several times and loved it (saw manatees each time we went over to the springs - amazing!)… and my sister-in-law swears she had the best nap ever on the open air back patio couch. But again… ah… that sunroom. 😊 We would definitely come back to this home again.

This place was fantastic! Great location, beautiful home, clean, quiet, comfy and wonderful landscaping! Kayak to the springs is 5 minutes. Off the beaten path, but close to necessities (Publix, restaurants, etc.). Super place, don’t hesitate to book this place!

Brief getaway

The place looks just like the pictures! Very well maintained- bigger than what we needed, a family of 3, but we loved it! Once we parked the car, we didn’t leave until check out! The kitchen was well stocked, which was nice because we cooked everyday. We saw manatees, dolphins, otters and a ton of fish.

Nice and relax place to stay!

We had a birthday surprise for my husband and we had a blast. We enjoyed the outdoors a lot, we did kayaking, made smores at the fire pit, and relaxed outside. The house is so cute and very comfortable. Very close to restaurants, bars, and marinas to rent a boat. The communication with the manager was very effective, quick, and kind. We really recommend this place to stay.

Absolutely beautiful property. Loved all the outside spaces. Sitting on the dock in the evening was so peaceful. Catfish all over the place and kayaked to the state park with the Manatee’s. Great place for families and will be back.

Spacious and quiet

We enjoyed the options of a quiet water view from indoors, or the enclosed porch, or the outdoor veranda and pier. We were just two, but the house had room for a large family and allows for kayaking, fishing and a firepit. We stayed for ten days and found everything we needed was already inside the house. Dana responded, it seemed, sometimes almost before we reached out to her. And while it was tucked away on a canal, it was just minutes from grocery stores, restaurants and more.

Beautiful house, great location!

This house, situated on a corner lot on a neighborhood canal, is a gem! Our family, 2 adults and 2 teenagers, enjoyed how the property has several inviting outdoor seating areas, a fire pit for s’mores, and kayaks to use. The house and the grounds are thoughtfully maintained and decorated, we could not have been more pleased. The Wildlife Preserve State Park is right around the corner, as well as great dining options. Crystal River is a short drive away and Monkey Island is a nice paddle just down-river.

Beautiful home and great fishing

This is the only property my children have asked to go back to again. They fished right off the dock every day. There was even a small family of Manatees that came by! The beds were very comfortable. This was the best place we have rented, and we have rented many places.

House was beautifully decorated and had plenty of cozy spaces.

Everything was great. The pictures of the parking are deceiving though, it looks like you have more space than you actually do, but it is big enough for a boat trailer and 2 vehicles if you plan it carefully. We had a wonderful time. Property is gorgeous.

Perfect Relaxing Retreat

Wonderful relaxing week at River's Edge. The property is a quiet, friendly area. House was perfect. If you are bringing your boat, the ride to the Gulf takes about 45 minutes. Easy check. in process and responsive property management with any questions. Highly recommend this property.

Perfect hidden gem

We stayed while on honeymoon and had an amazing experience. Other than no washer & dryer, this house has it all. The location is quiet and perfect for those that like to fish and or be by water.
