Private boat slip behind the home. Community Pool and tennis courts. Close to everything. Enjoy the many restaurants like Sea Grass, Marguirita Grill, The Famous Freezer for shrimp, MacRaes, Florida Cracker Kitchen, The Old Mill and so much more to see and do. Come for the night or stay for a while. Sleeps 10 people in beds! Nice kitchen, private screened in back lanai over looks the canal with direct gulf access or enjoy the crystal clear water of Homosassa Springs! Perfect for fisherman or scallopers. Getaway from the cold northern winters and escape to your own paradise. Watch the dolphins and manatees and otters come by your dock. Bring a pole and just enjoy nature. Great place for a couple to stay. Not a lot of room for kids. The beach area got smaller as the day went on but at night when the tide went out it was huge for hunting crabs. It is not your typical beach. The sand is more muddy than sandy. Not really good for playing in the water. This is a great stay for a couple that wants to fish or kayak or someone that just wants to sit on the beach with no one around. The beach was very private. Although you hear the highway traffic. There is no stove or dishwasher but the house was so nice and clean!! The bed slept great! I would suggest a TV in the bedroom. The owners were so nice! I got to meet them several times. I love to visit Carrabelle! Great seafood places to eat!!

Fishing trip

We were able to hang out at the house, go fishing, go to waterfront restaurants, and enjoy the Homosassa springs all within a 20 minute boat ride. We will be back!

Great time

The house was close to everything only a few minutes from the store so that made it very convenient! Reached out to the property owner a couple times and they were very responsive very quickly. We had no issues. We did have two boats, but you can’t cannot rent a second slip something to keep in mind. The only other.Thing was the inside Front door handle had no way of laughing so my toddler kept trying to sneak out. We are very happy with our stay and will likely stay again.

golfing stay

Very large 4 bedrooms home. plenty of towels and bathroom material. Clean, updated wifi and great location for a family to enjoy the gulf coast. The best thing you can say about visiting a VRBO is no issues and that is exactly what we experienced! Cheers

Out of town Wedding

Not familiar with the area we selected this hone for our family. Our son got married so we needed a large home for our big family. Beautiful home, perfect size for us. Only recommendations are possibly update dishware there were slot of mismatched plates and glassware which seemed a bit odd. Whomever is paid to clean definitely missed a few things. A couple of empty shampoo bottles and some burnt out lights. I would most definitely stay here again if we visit the area again. Host was very responsive, thank you for that!

Family Vacation

We loved that this place was large enough for our whole family to stay together in Homosassa and enjoy the water on our boat which was conveniently docked right behind the place on a canal directly off the Homosassa River. There was also a boat ramp located near the dock which was very convenient. The neighborhood was very quiet and very nice. We had plenty of parking on the property. We had everything we needed to prepare simple meals and there were plenty of restaurant options nearby.

Awesome place!

Our first time scalloping was a blast. The easy access to getting the boat in/out of the water and the ease of tying it up and going inside was a stress reliever. Everything was exactly as stated. House was super clean and hall everything that you could possibly need for a week stay! 10/10 recommend and would love to come back.

Family vacation

Enjoyed the stay but not adequate supply, trash bags, toilet paper, laundry and dishwasher soaps. Shower heads or water pressure was low flow in most of the bathrooms also. Was good for our large family gathering.
