Tranquil Waterfront Cottage

"Queen size bed" 1 camera da letto, incantevole, arredata con gusto / 1 bagno cottage. Luna di miele perfetta o luogo di fuga romantica. Su un canale cristallino che conduce a numerosi laghi, al fiume Halls, al fiume Homosassa e al Golfo del Messico. Buona pesca in acque limpide a ridosso del patio. Il casolare si trova in una zona fantastica per vedere come lamantino, focena, tartarughe lontre, razze frequenti proprio al largo del molo. Diversi grandi aironi blu, ibis, molti gufi di bardo e un paio di cicogne di legno frequentano il tuo cortile. Ci sono anche una grande varietà di uccelli nella zona e il fiume Halls scorre attraverso un santuario degli uccelli. Bastano pochi minuti per 3 diversi fiumi che portano al Golfo del Messico. C'è un molo per una piccola barca anche spazio per parcheggiare la barca e il rimorchio. Viene fornito con una barca a remi per 4 persone, 2 kayak e una canoa. Bellissimo cortile recintato con un doppio cancello d'ingresso. Recintato su 2 lati e acqua sugli altri 2 lati.

We had a wonderful time here. The property was so cute. Just as pictured. The owner, Dennis, couldn’t have been nicer. It was so peaceful and we enjoyed sitting outside and watching the wildlife. We saw a family of otters, lots of fish and the neighborhood white peacock, Princess. She was beautiful. It was definitely a great place to stay.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay!First night we watched a Bard Owl Fish. Everyday the water was bussing with life, too many fish to count. The last morning we saw young manatees and a loon. The cottage is perfect and has all the amenities to make you comfortable and feel welcomed. The location is perfect.

It was dark upon arrival making it challenging to find but luckily the owners were home to direct me, as they reside nextdoor. The cabin felt very welcoming and clean, beautifully decorated. Owners are very sweet. Motion sensor lights would be beneficial for at night. Sadly the majority of the time I was there (2 weeks) the water was very low so I could not use the kayaks. It was unusually cool as well. I was hoping to see more wildlife during my stay but did get to meet the Woodstork (s) that visits. The cabin is perfect for a shorter stays, however for longer ones, a few things to consider. No stove/oven (there is a Ninja Air Fryer and some electric skillets), mini fridge, no on-site laundry, no ice or enough space to store a bag of ice. Description says there is a larger fridge with ice out back but there wasn’t. Also no hair dryer. Had I known I would have brought my own. A strainer and some food storage containers would be helpful for the kitchen as well. Overall my stay was comfortable and pleasant. Loved being so close to Crystal River as well as the wildlife state park. Conveniently located close to restaurants and stores. Serene and quiet.

This locations is great for personal craft river access, manatee viewing, natural dock area, and relaxing back yard environment. We thoroughly enjoyed it. WiFi was slow but we didn’t have to have it. Thanks for this great VRBO!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this waterfront cottage. It's a great place for a weekend getaway and is close to MANY Florida Springs attractions (we visited Seven Sisters while here). We found the site very relaxing and I appreciated that there were multiple vessels already in the water available for a quick paddle on the Halls River, which we took advantage of using the canoe at the property. There is also a fantastic restaurant just down the road called Wallace's which had great ambiance and great service--we visited them both nights that we stayed at the cottage. And although we did not bring our dog this time, the property is very dog-friendly and you can close the main gate after you drive into the yard to keep your pup corralled (just keep in mind that there is no fence along the water). The only thing that would make this property better would be a stove and dishwasher, which would facilitate a longer stay. That said, there are some smaller appliances available for cooking, as well as an outdoor grill. All in all, this is definitely a rental that I would return to again for short stays, and I intend to!

I spent 3 nights at the cottage and wished I could have stayed longer. The property is very peaceful and exceeded my expectations. We enjoyed seeing a beautiful white peacock on the property grounds and a short canoe ride led us by an emu/alpaca farm. Enjoyed fishing, using the grill and nearby restaurants. This is definitely a property I would like to rent again.

We stayed for a long weekend to visit nearby parks and snorkel with manatees. The cottage is in a great location, about 10 minutes to Crystal River and 10 minutes to the Homosassa Wildlife Refuge (other direction). The owners gave us very specific directions and parking instructions (it could have been tricky to find without them). The cottage is very charming, kind of "Funky Old Florida Bohemian". Lots of whimsy, very welcoming. The outdoors area is great, very peaceful sitting by the water and having morning coffee. If you're looking for something that is super modern and has a full kitchen this isn't the place for you. If you're looking for something off the beaten path with tons of character and charm, this is it!

The cottage is nicely decorated. Very cute and comfy! Jim fished the entire time & caught a lot of blue gill. The water is clear & you can watch the fish swim by. The property is lovely. If traveling with your pet it is perfect. Fenced in no leash required! We had a lovely time.
