Annual Family cottage rental

Beautiful lake and lovely stay
This property is so wonderful! It is in an excellent location. The cabin is stocked with everything you could need. Bob is so responsive and helpful. The cabin is clean and well kept. There were plenty of things to do for the entire family - paddle boat, raw boat, canoe, and a pontoon boat for us to cruise the lake. We caught plenty of fish which we had cooked some and it was delicious! We also made a trip to Glen Watkins National Park, about an hour drive, and highly recommend it, the waterfalls are amazing. Plenty of good farms around to buy fresh produce on the side of the roads. Easy-going people, considerate and respectful of their surroundings. Overall, we had a great time and Bob was a very good host. Look forward to staying here again.

The personalized attention Bob gave was amazing!! The cabin had all the amenities we needed, but he offered to get anything we might need. Very accommodating! Can't express enough how impressed we were with the small details and attention to our needs!

Wonderful Getaway
The cabin is cute, well taken care of and stocked with appliances and conveniences that you will need. The cabin is right on the lake and there are a few docks for fishing/boating. We caught lots of little fish right off the front dock with very little effort. I'd like to thank Bob for being a wonderful host. he took us on a boat ride and is friendly and generous. Stay here with confidence.

Great location and reasonable rate per night.
Robert was great with our communications. Before our arrival we talked and our place was ready for us before our actual check in time. We were greeted outside of Roberts home which is located behind rental cottage. Rental home was clean and everything you need was included. The AC window units are only in the kitchen and living room. Our bedrooms were small but plenty of room to sleep in. You need to keep all doors open to cool two bedrooms. To our surprise our bed was a combination bunk bed and Full size. Robert explained it was new and he didn't have time to change that information in description. My wife and I were slightly disappointed but we made it work. Our cousins were staying in the other bedroom and they told me that mattress could be changed. Very soft and not very comfortable. Otherwise our stay was good, and Robert was friendly and even gave us fire wood for two nights. WIFI signal was fair not super strong. TV worked fine and we really didn't watch it that much. Everything in this cottage worked perfectly and we have no complaints. Great time at the lake and very peaceful. Sam K

Wonderful lake side cottage

Relaxing Week
The property was small but efficient. As our 8 year old granddaughter said, "They know how to make it cozy!" The owner was very accommodating and helpful, ready to solve a small issue we had. We had a relaxing, comfortable week!

Relaxing day on the lake.
We had a great time at the lake house, fishing off the dock during the day and dancing by the fire at night. The house was well stocked with everything you would need. Including a row boat and kayaks. We went in the middle of September and the algae was in bloom so decided not to use them. We had a great time and wait for next year.

Lovely little cottage!
My sister and I had a wonderful stay at this cottage. Bob and his wife Avis were super hosts. The cottage is small but mighty. Everything you could think of was provided. All we needed to supply was food. Great view of the lake out the front windows. The AC was much appreciated. It was a hot few days. This is the perfect place for a quiet vacation. Hope to be back someday.

Wonderful stay
These reviews don't lie...Bob is a wonderful generous host. He is a genuine great guy with a lifetime of experience about lake life and the area. If you rent this cottage from Bob, you honestly don't need to bring a thing other than your personal items. He provides it all. 100% recommend this cottage and Bob for anytime of the year. Long Weekend Getaway
We stayed at this property with our 4 kids ranging in age from 7-13. We all had a blast, and we were able to fit just fine. We took the kids to the beach which is just 8 minutes down the road. The owner even offered to take us all out tubing on the lake, kids loved it as did my wife and i.

Great quiet getaway
Great cozy but enough space for family of four. We needed a quiet few days to relax and it was perfect. Owner very attentive - I just had limited cell and text access so sometimes I had trouble communicating. Two kayaks with gear and outside fire pit were great.

Just what we needed.
This quiet clean cottage was an excellent way to enter into the post Covid world. The cottage is well equipped with everything you will need. Bob is a great host. Always there if you need him but doesn't interfere with your stay. We truly appreciated the replenished firewood for our nightly fire.

Beautiful view!
Stayed with my 3 and 9 year old kids. They loved that he had cable to to watch cartoons in the morning. The internet also worked great. But the highlight is the boat ride he took us on! My kids have talked about it for days! He also provided us with dry firewood which was excellent as it was pouring the night we arrived.

Landlord is Very kind and generous ~👍
The day I was going, the weather was not so good, so when I arrived, I rested at home and drove around the lake. The location of the house was so good that I was able to visit nearby state parks and Lake Ohio as the weather cleared the next day. It's an hour away and it's easy to get around. There is also a ski resort nearby, so it is recommended for ski enthusiasts. And above all, the owner of the house is very kind and generous. It was regrettable that I could not appreciate the beauty of the lake due to the bad weather, but the children liked it very much because the landlord's consideration gave me more time to ride the boat on the last day.

Fantastic!
My husband and I stayed here for 6 days and we wish we could have stayed all summer!! The views are amazing and the owner was extremely helpful and nice. Even the neighbors are awesome! My adult kids came up and when I asked Robert where we could rent 2 extra kayaks he went put of gis way to borrow them from the next door neighbor free of charge! He also took us on a tour of the lake in his boat, made sure we had enough campfire wood wothout us having to ask and just all around made our experience wonderful. My only hesitation in giving this place a glowing review is that I selfishly want to keep it a secret so it doesnt get booked up the next time we want to go! LOL! Thanks for everything Robert, Elvis bless!!

The cottage had a beautiful view, was well stocked, and clean. Bob was a pleasure. He took us out on the boat and gave us all a turn at the wheel. He had a friendly personality and was extremely accommodating. My family and I were reluctant to end the trip and 10/10 would definitely come back and for a longer stay in the future. Well worth the 7 hour drive from out of state. Thanks Bob!

This cottage is perfect for 4 to 6 people to enjoy all that Honeoye Lake has to offer. Directly across the lake from the cottage is the State boat ramp. The owners provide everything you need to enjoy your stay... just bring food and beverage and relax!

Fantastic
We loved staying at this little cabin! Roughly a 30 minute drive to Canandaigua. Everything was clean when we got there. Fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. Bob was amazing; had a fire ready for us to light and even rebuilt one for us while we were out the following day and supplied plenty of firewood. The paddle boat, rowboat and kayaks were great! We wouldn't change a thing and are eager to go back.

Great waterfront cottage
We had a great time at the cottage. The beds are comfortable, shower is good, and the kitchen is well stocked with cookware and utensils to prepare just about anything. We also enjoyed using the paddle boat, rowboat and kayaks. Bob is great. He took us for a boat ride and supplied us with firewood. We will definitely book this cottage again!

Wonderful retreat!
My husband and I along with our 3 grandkids stayed for a week. Bob was wonderful and easy to work with! He was kind enough to take us out on the lake and allow our grandkids to tube as well as friends who had randomly rented next door! We loved it! The kitchen is well stocked- did not need one thing. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was nice. The cottage was immaculate when we arrived! Bob kept us stocked in firewood for the whole week! We loved the easy lake access and enjoyed the paddle boat and kayaks at the property. We visited the beautiful parks suggested in the listing- so much fun! Highly recommend!

This was the perfect getaway for me, my husband and 15 year old niece and daughter. The cottage was perfect, the lake is quiet. Bob and his wife Avis were the perfect hosts. Took us out several times on his speedboat to show us the lake, go tubing and even taught the girls how to ski. Will definitely rent here again.

Quiet Family Getaway
We stayed in this cottage for 5 days. To say we had the time of our life is an understatement. The kids especially loved being able to swim from sun up to sun down. Bob took us out on the lake for tubing and swimming. He even let the kids (9 and 11) drive the boat. The cottage was very clean and was the perfect fit for our family of 5.

Just as described
adorable little cottage with everything you could ask for. If you forgot it, it was there. Robert was very good at responding to all questions and was very thoughtful for asking if we wanted to go for a boat ride and allowed family to visit for the day. Near by neighbors were also very friendly as well. Will rent again!!

Great Eacape
The cottage is clean and lovely. The kitchen is spacious, and the living room is very pretty with big windows that overlook the lake and make you feel like you're on a river boat. There are two bedrooms with a comfortable queen bed in each. We didn't try the pullout couch in the living room. The waterfront has a dock with two kayaks, a paddle boat, and a rowboat for your enjoyment. You can watch little fish swimming below the dock. My kids had no trouble catching them with their cheapo rods and some worms. There is a small fire ring, chairs, and a large picnic table so you can eat by the water. Bob is wonderful, welcoming, and accommodating. He took our family for a joyride on his speed boat, we all went tubing and he helped my husband and I try waterskiing. It was the highlight of the weekend! I want to come back every weekend.
