"La terra del sole" - fantastica vista sul mare, tranquillo, fuga romantica

Situato sulla costa Hamakua nel villaggio piantagione storico di Paauhau, questo cottage caratteristico offre una vista sull'oceano incredibili, la privacy e romanticismo. Costruita sul bordo di un grande burrone con ampie viste sulla vegetazione che conduce nell'oceano blu prende il fiato. Grande lanai coperto (ponte), con comodi posti a sedere e una griglia esterna. All'interno si dispone di un bagno completo con doccia piastrellata generoso, comodo angolo cottura con lavello e piena contatore, mini frigo, full-size, divano con full size letto estraibile, e un grande schermo piatto T. V. Cavo e Wi-Fi è incluso.

A wonderful stay on the north side!

This rental was absolutely the perfect way to start out our Hawaii vacation. The gardens outside were absolutely beautiful and the view of the ocean couldn't be beat! We wish we had more time there to relax on top of all tourist stuff we did. The room was comfortable and matched the listing exactly.There is a short, steep hill that you need to climb to get to the unit (although you probably could have walked around the other house to avoid the hill) so be aware of you have mobility issues...just an FYI...not a complaint.We highly recommend this rental!!

Perfect Island Stay with Ocean Breeze and Warm Hospitality

Kim and James’s cottage was the perfect home base for exploring Big Island’s trails and beaches. Waking up to breakfast with an ocean view and the Pacific breeze was a highlight. The place was spotless, nearly insect-free, and stayed cool enough without AC. It’s ideal for two or three people. The kitchen is simple but has everything you need to cook your own meals, and there are plenty of nearby spots with great local food. James welcomed us personally and was always ready to help, which made us feel truly cared for. Kim’s artwork in the house adds a lovely personal touch. Thank you both for sharing your beautiful place.

Absolutely Wonderful view and stay

We loved the view from the deck and the outdoor kitchen on the deck. The view was amazing as was the sunrise's. We spent our first day just relaxing on the property and cooking at the cottage. Jim and Kim have created a fantastic Hawaiian getaway with lovely art.

Such a find!!

Property overlooks the ocean and the wooded area and fields below. The owners are friendly and want to assist how ever they can to make sure the stay is comfortable. I will definitely be booking with them again.

Peaceful and beautiful

This property was delightful. Our hosts Jim and Kim were friendly and right next door if needed. The little house is neat, tidy and decorated with great bohemian thought and original artwork. The yard is manicured and beautiful. Our favorite part of this stay was the evening concert of animals winding down for the night. We loved sitting at the outdoor kitchen table listening to the world quiet down as we watched the ocean at sunset. We will definitely go back.

Bigger than it looks in the picture

The view of the ocean from the lanai is spectacular. We spent many hours just watching wildlife including some dolphinsand the beautiful ocean.

Kolopa State Park and Honoka’a Getaway

Awesome views, peaceful, quiet and close to our favorite State Park, Waimea, and on the Hamakua Coast. Our Lanai had a great view with two outdoor tables and was covered. There was a relaxing outdoor patio as well. The kitchen was complete and the bed was comfortable. We will be back again. Mahalo, Jim and Kim

Lovely cottage separate from the owners house but on the same lot. Great views of the ocean and sunrise. Well equipped kitchenette for self-catering as there are not many restaurants near by, however there is a grocery store in the next town over. Nice to hear the frogs at night, was very soothlng. Morning will bring sounds of cockerels so if you're a light sleeper bring earplugs. There is a fairly soft double mattress and a say bed, making this a perfect getaway for a couple.

Dream vacation

Absolutely stunning views of the ocean. The landscape was amazing! Waking up every morning, drinking coffee on the lanai, listening to all kinds of birds and animals. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. A screen door into the home would have been nice to keep bugs from flying inside in the evening.

Very Nice Spot

This is a very nice spot, with a serene view to the ocean over a herd of grazing cattle. The cottage is also unique with most everything you need to make meals and relax. The bath is nice as well with a large shower. The day bed (single) is a firm foam mattress and quite comfortable.. Alas, the double bed is worn and most uncomfortable. I'm sure that the owners have scheduled a replacement of the bed and upgrading it to a queen. We would very definitely stay here again.

Very relaxing stay

We loved this place. It was very quiet and relaxing. It had incredible views of the ocean. We really liked sitting outside on the lanei in the evenings. The property was in a great location and it was just a short drive to some really awesome beaches.

A Little Piece of Paradise

Peaceful, Private, and just outstanding!

Really nice to be able to spend a few days up here. Great first light & surrounding town. Within 10 miles of some of the best views on Hawaii. I appreciate Kim and Jim’s hospitality.

Fabulous ocean views! Lanai with the Geckos very entertaining! Replacing full ant traps with fresh on a regular basis would help the ant problem!! Of course bugs are a real thing in the tropics. Very nice little bungalow.
