I recently stayed at Waikiki Shore 0612, and I have mixed feelings about the experience. Let's start with the good stuff. The location of this place is incredible! It's right by Fort DeRussy military gardens, and if you want to be in the heart of Waikiki, this is the spot. The views of the sunset from the balcony were stunning, and it definitely added a special touch to our stay. Plus, being so close to the beach was a big bonus.Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the actual unit itself. The kitchen equipment was disappointing. It felt like it was on its last legs, and the quality was lacking. Maintenance was a problem too. The window blinds were hanging by a thread, and it felt like we were on display to the whole world at night when they weren't properly attached. This made us uncomfortable and concerned about our privacy. The information about the unit, like the lighting and furniture, seemed outdated and overdue for an upgrade. On the bright side, I do see potential in the building. I'd be willing to stay here again, but only if I could choose a different unit that's better taken care of. The location is the highlight, and with some improvements, it could be a much more enjoyable place to stay.In summary, Waikiki Shore 0612 has an amazing location, but the unit itself leaves a lot to be desired in terms of condition, maintenance, and amenities. If you prioritize location over luxury and are okay with compromising on the quality of the unit, this place might still be worth considering, but just be prepared for a less-than-perfect experience.
