The building’s recreation deck on the 6th floor, including the pool and BBQ, will be closed for renovation starting April 7, 2025, with work expected to continue for approximately one year. Rates have already been discounted accordingly to reflect the temporary loss of these amenities. During this time, there may be noise in and around the recreation deck area. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to improve our amenities.***



THE BUILDING:

• There is a coffee shop on the ground floor next to the elevators in Tower 1

• There is a convenience store on the ground floor next to the elevators in Tower 1

• There is a coin machine on the ground floor next to the security office in Tower 2



As of June 2025, the building’s long-awaited elevator project is complete! The old elevators have been fully replaced with brand-new, state-of-the-art models, offering faster, smoother, and more reliable service.



HOW TO GET HERE:

From Honolulu Airport, it is just a 20-minute drive from your destination. Rent a car to explore or grab a taxi for around $45, depending on traffic. Look for signs on the way to the taxi area upon arrival. Enjoy your trip!

Check-in: any time after 3:00 PM

Check out: any time before or at 10:00 AM



Regarding early check-ins or late checkouts, we’re unable to confirm those requests at the moment. If you’d like to ensure you can either check in early or check out late, we’d suggest booking an extra night. In such cases, please reach out to Midway Vacations, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.



STARTER SUPPLIES:

We provide a welcome starter supply kit stocked with - one pack of coffee grounds, coffee filters, toilet paper, paper towel, tissue, can liners, salt & pepper, spray oil, laundry detergent, dish soap, sponge, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, and bar soap. Please note that this is only a starter supply to make sure you have everything you need upon arrival.



HOUSEKEEPING:

Our professional housekeeping team has strict procedures and checklists to guarantee constant quality across all our properties. All linens and towels are professionally cleaned with scent-free detergent and high-temperature washing (180F). Our trained inspectors also check everything before each arrival.

 

The cleaning fee includes all of the services listed above and restocking for amenities after each departure. There will be an extra charge if excessive cleaning is necessary. Thank you for your understanding. 



LINENS & TOWELS:

You will receive one set of towels (bath towel, hand towel, washcloth, beach towel) per guest. Beds are equipped with a fitted sheet, two flat sheets, and a blanket. Linens for the sleeper sofa are on the sofa mattress, and pillows and blankets are in the closet.



BEACH ESSENTIALS:

We’ve got beach towels, chairs, and an umbrella ready for you in the unit so you can enjoy some fun in the sun. If you’d like a beach mat or snorkeling gear, just let us know—we’re happy to provide them upon request!



LAUNDRY ROOMS:

There are laundry rooms on each floor with coin and credit-card-operated washers and dryers. A single pack of laundry detergent is provided in your starter supply kit. There is a coin change machine next to the lobby in Tower 2. Laundry room hours are from 8 am-10 pm daily.



TRASH ROOM:

Trash rooms are located at the end of each floor, next to the emergency exit.

Experience even greater savings! Reach out to us when planning a stay of 30 nights or more and enjoy a 10% discount on your total room fee.

We came to Honolulu and stayed just through the weekend - it was a great location for the finish line at the Honolulu Marathon. Very short walk to the beach. The apartment was exceptionally clean, which I very much appreciated since there was a musty smell from the couch. We liked the layout of the apartment, it was perfect for 2 people and bigger and better than a comparable priced hotel room. Pros: location, ease of check in and check out, cleanliness, lots of supplies, powerful showerhead (Not low flow!!) free cable TV Cons: air conditioner was loud, toilet runs, recliner doesn't recline - we contacted the host about the recliner - no resolution other than "sorry, electrical cord not attached to chair."

Great location! Comfortable accommodations.

This is our 2nd stay at the Waikiki Banyan and 1 st time in this unit. This location is amazing , very close to the beach and restaurants but also far enough away from the main strip that it is nice and quiet. Oh his unit was clean and had everything we could possibly need. Everything was professional and efficient from booking to check in to check out. Will definitely stay here again.

The whole condo was spotless. We had a wonderful mountain view from the bedroom and living room/kitchen. The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed to prepare a meal. We would definitely enjoy another stay there if traveling to Hawaii.

Positives; The property is central to everything. Easy walking to great food and the beach. Security in the parking garage is nice and friendly. Beautiful views and a well appointed kitchen. Drawbacks: had to pay for parking even though the emails and in suite book states a parking pass included…$30 a day for limited parking. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils but note cards saying do not use.., No safety lock on the door. Using a key code to enter which everyone at the management had but no deadbolt or safety lock left me feeling unsettled at night. I left a day early even though I paid because I didn’t feel safe. Great location but I’ll look for better options next time.

Good overall

Excellent location in terms of being in the middle of all the action. I took away a star because the bathtub and the refrigerator are pretty old, and, in my opinion, need to be replaced. In addition, it would have been helpful to have salt and pepper in the kitchen and dishwasher detergent but not a big deal.
