  • Located in Tower 2 of the very popular and family friendly Waikiki Banyan, this one Bedroom unit will comfortably fit a family of 4 with a king size bed in bedroom and queen size sofa bed in living room. The full kitchen comes stocked with all the essentials and full size appliances to make meals in a breeze. A rare amenity in Waikiki, you'll enjoy Free parking (height limit 6'2”) with unlimited in/out privileges- a huge convenience plus easily saving you $45+ per day in parking fee's. Located on the West Side of Waikiki, just a few minutes walk to Waikiki Beach and tons of restaurants and shopping nearby, PLUS convenience of only being a few minute drive OUT of Waikiki for exploring the rest of the Island. Waikiki Banyan has just completed a complete renovation of their 6th floor recreation deck where guests can enjoy use of sauna, swimming pool/sun deck, hot tubs, BBQ grills for a small fee, tennis court, and a children's play area.

    HOUSEKEEPING:
    To ensure your complete privacy and security, we do not offer housekeeping services during your stay. A professional cleaning of the property is done between each guest, along with stocking of linens, towels, and a starter supply of amenities.

    LINENS, TOWELS, & SUPPLIES
    For each guest, 2 towels, 2 washcloths, and one beach towel are provided. Additionally, the bathroom will be supplied with 2 hand towels and one bathmat, and kitchen supplied with a dish towel. Beds are equipped with sheets and a lightweight blanket.
    We provide a starter supply kit stocked with: 4 coffee pods for Keurig, 4 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towel, trash can liners, salt & pepper, cooking oil, laundry detergent, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, sponge, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Please note that this is only a starter supply to make sure you have everything you need upon and items are not replenished during your stay.
    We manage privately owned units, please do not turn in towels, beach towels, sheets, or any other items to building staff, or leave outside the room.

    ARRIVAL INFORMATION
    From the Honolulu Airport, you can expect the drive to be about 30 minutes depending on traffic. Rent a car from the airport, or catch a taxi or shuttle. Taxi's and shuttles do not need prearranged, exit the airport and follow the signs for taxi and shuttle areas. For car rentals, please be sure vehicle does not exceed height of 6'2”

    CHECKIN/OUT
    Upon booking, you will receive a reservation link to an approved third-party platform, Access to this is mandatory and it some cases may require you to upload photo ID for verification. This link will provide detailed step by step instructions for self check in, and checkout, guidebooks for the area, and additional services we may provide. We recommend accessing this information as soon as your booking is made.
    Check in: begins at 4pm
    Checkout: prior to 11am
    If you have an early arrival, or late departure, and wish to guarantee room access, we advise you to book this extra time in advance. You may do so by requesting through your provided reservation link after booking your stay, or you may consider making your original reservation for an extra day. Often, we cannot accommodate same day requests for early check in or late checkout, as another guest will be arriving or departing and this extra service needs arranged with our cleaning crews ahead of time

    DELIVERIES/PACKAGES
    For any packages/mail arriving during your visit, we highly recommend shipping them to our office for nearby pickup. For security reasons, majority of mail carriers will not leave items unattended at your door for pickup, you must personally receive them. Mailbox keys are not provided during your stay. Please keep in mind, shipping timeframes to Hawaii vary significantly from mainland and are prone to delays.
    For food or grocery delivery, you must personally be at the property to receive delivery, they may not be left at the front desk for pickup.

    IMPORTANT DETAILS:
    While you'll enjoy updated interiors, please note that the building itself, and much of the infrastructure in Waikiki retains its vintage character. Our goal is to present our guests with modern comforts in a classic 1960s building. We want you to have an amazing stay, and this information ensures you know just what to expect from your experience in Waikiki.
    Downtown Waikiki is full of energy which is part of its unique charm. Guests can expect to hear city sounds, especially in the evenings. Please consider this aspect of Waikiki's bustling vibe, and if you're sensitive to noise please let us know. We want you to be as comfortable as possible and are happy to provide earplugs

    Insects, “pests”, geckos, and anything else of such nature are a valuable part of our ecosystem. Just like any other host, or hotel, we routinely perform pest control, while it is rare to see such inside, it is always a possibility given our environment. This is especially the case if food, trash, or dirty dishes are left out. Please understand that they are naturally occurring in our climate and do not reflect upon the cleanliness of the unit. Unless harmful, or in excess, the presence of insects/pests/geckos does not constitute cause for a refund.

    CANCELLATIONS:
    Prior to booking, please refer to the outlined cancellation policy. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that reimburses for prepaid, non-refundable expenses that may arise due to unforeseen circumstances that could jeopardize your vacation investment and would otherwise incur unplanned expenses.

    HOUSE RULES:
    Please be considerate of all neighboring units and building staff. Quiet hours begin at 9pm and end at 8am.
    No events or parties allowed
    No smoking or vaping allowed inside our outside on the lanai
    Parking Pass must be returned at checkout, a $250 fee is imposed for replacement parking passes

Great condo in Waikiki

Great location in Waikiki overlooking the canal and a couple of blocks from the beach. The unit has everything you would need and the bed is very comfortable.

10 day stay for work

Super clean unit with fantastic Mountain views well equipped with coffee maker rice maker and all of the utensils pots and pans you would need for a long-term stay king size bed was very comfortable internet and TV worked flawlessly the only drawback as I wish the bidet was working

Short Stay

Since VRBO will not let me go and give the property just some stars. I have to give this short message about our stay. The property was adequate. We had some issues with the AC but once again the condo was adequate. The pool deck is nice, but we were there when it was windy and not very warm. Therefore, the pool deck was adequate. We did not come to Hawaii for a vacation. We spent seven days so we could surprise our grandson for his 13th birthday. Therefore the condo is adequate for our needs.

Great condo & view!

We were very happy with making this condo our home for three weeks. The bed was so comfortable that we wish we knew what make the mattress is for when we replace ours at home. We had the majority of our meals in the condo & the quality of the pots & pans is excellent. The view of the mountains is beautiful & you can see the sunrise every morning. The only downside is the height of the kitchen island. It’s so tall that it’s impossible to use as a prep area & too close to the opposing counter for more than one person to move around freely. Overall we loved this condo & would definitely stay here again. It’s an excellent location & comes with a parking stall which is a huge plus. It’s easy to walk down to the beach or to a nearby restaurant. The pool area is large & well maintained. We give it 5 stars!

Mixed feelings about our 2 week stay

Pros:location, parking, comfortable bed in bedroom area. Nice bathroom. Cons: air conditioner keeping us awake at night. It would make weird noises and drip water down the wall onto our stuff on the floor. We ended up not using it because of these issues. We were extremely frustrated that we were not told the unit right next door was under construction. The noise from the jackhammering, cutting, pounding etc was intolerable. It ruined a whole week of our vacation. They completely gutted and renovated the unit right next door during our vacation. The kitchen lacking basic necessities - oven mitts, wash cloths, dish towels etc. we ended up using our face cloths as dish cloths and our bath towels to dry dishes. And had difficulty getting hot food out of oven. The pull out bed for our children has a very thin uncomfortable mattress. I felt so sorry for our kids who slept on it. As an adult, I couldn’t spend one night on it. Guests should be made aware the couch bed is for small children only. The lack of a dining table. We will not be staying in a unit without a dining table again. 4 people cannot eat comfortably on the island. The unit desperately needs shelves, or places to put stuff. When you walk in the door, where should guests put their keys, wallets, phones, hats, etc. there isn’t a single shelf to put anything on. A simplebook shelf near the entry would help. Unit needs a place to hang dry clothes. We didn’t find unit particularly clean.
