Chalet a Honor

“The Motel is older (greater than 50 yrs old). The staff were very friendly. The room was clean and cool. I could change the temp on the air conditioner but not the fan speed. There was no towel rack or hook in the bathroom. My room was closest to the road but it was nice and quiet overnight. I was close enough to town to walk (though it was probably about 1/2 mile or more). The Starbucks was just a long block away so I didn't go in for the coffee and pastries. “Pros… updated, clean, nicely decorated - people when in office were helpful… but… Cons… (1) contact phone number from Expedia was old / incorrect/ went to an unmonitored email so my 5 requests left to VM requesting an additional day were not answered. Needed to book elsewhere for the 4th (2) while the name says Coastal Suites and Resort… it was not coastal (limited access to crystal lake and not convenient), not a suite… at best a small motel room, and definitely not a resort (3) very pricey...

“No front desk, so check-in and door codes sent through email / texts. Worked just fine. Parking a bit confusing, but worked out fine.”

“We enjoyed our stay at The Vic. The hotel was well-maintained and our room was very clean. The bed was comfortable and there was minimal noise. Location was great too. Easy and quick access to downtown and the peninsulas. We will be back!”
