“Love this new spot in Hood River! They were less than two months old when I stayed, so they were still working on some things, but nothing too annoying. The lobby/bar/basecamp were very nice. Lots of options for seating and lounging. As other reviews mentioned, the rooms are quite small, but the common areas made up for it. And it was still enough space to lounge and watch TV. “Hosts were outstanding on check in. I arrived later in evening around 7:30 pm and they were friendly and receptive and recommended dining options. Even walked me down to the cabin to show the way in the dark. Room was immaculate and beautifully done and very comfortable. Would stay here anytime when within the area. Good location and convenient to attractions, dining, and all basic staples.”

“The trails close by are perfct to go on with my kids. They can be kind of steep so be prepared to carry the little ones at times. The kitchen has all the utensils needed to cook. Its a small and cozy lodge with plenty of space for large groups. The Tavern has some really good dining options with friendly staff. ”
