  • Situato a 500 metri dalla spiaggia e situato nel cuore della città, questa bella casa offre una vista a 360 gradi di Hopetown e il Mare di Abaco. Fai un tuffo nella tua piscina privata e poi rilassati sul ponte tra lussureggianti giardini tropicali e palme. Divertiti a cucinare una tempesta nella cucina completamente attrezzata con ripiani in granito, mobili in ciliegio e elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile. Goditi gli arredi ispirati a Tommy Bahama e le TV a schermo piatto. C'è anche una terrazza sul tetto dove puoi guardare il tramonto sul porto. A partire dall'estate 2019 questa proprietà è di nuova proprietà e ora include un generatore.

Rooftop patio is incredible!

We had a wonderful stay at Hilltop. The house was clean and we had plenty of space for 3 couples to not feel like they were on top of each other. The rooftop patio is unmatched, perched high above all of HT with breathtaking views. The kitchen cookware could use an update. We did have the water run out and they quickly responded to get the tanks changed, we also had a minor hot water issue that was quickly resolved. The response time for these issues was better than expected. You should know that there are no golf carts allowed in the settlement so you have to carry everything about an 8-10 walk. I suggest packing grocery cooler bags. Great vacation, you definitely need a golf cart to enjoy the island. We would for sure stay here again. Loved it!

The electricity is provided primarily by solar power with a large amount of power storage, with an additional backup connection to the local power source for airconditioning. Sequential showers is the best approach to plenty of hot water. We stayed for 2 weeks 1/2024 and 3 weeks 2/2024 - it felt like a home not a rental.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A very nice property: granite countertops, good fixtures, bedding and towels. Really enjoyed the covered outdoor areas (especially when it rained) and a great view from the rooftop lookout (the only place with a view). It was a long walk to our golfcart for the seniors in our group, but you could probably get by without a cart since you are so close to Vernon's grocery. The hot water was somewhat erratic although it was somewhat better after Carrie from ECP had the propane tank changed. Overall it was great to be in Hopetown for the first time after Dorian. Plus, I always feel safe in the Abacos.

We had dinner for 8-10 at the kitchen table with plenty of room to spread out. Love that the kitchen had plenty of supplies including a bbq. Bedrooms super comfortable with nice linens and pillows especially after a long day on the water.

An Oasis in Paradise!

The outdoor living space is even more amazing than the photos. Comfortable seating for 6-8 people on three different levels. The splash pool is lovely and the outdoor shower is heaven! The crows nest has amazing views anytime of the day! Inside everything is beautiful and comfortable. The 2 king bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms are larger than any I have stayed in on the island. The open floor plan with the kitchen / dining and living area is beautiful and lends itself to lots of great family/friends time. The kayaks were greatly appreciated also!

Reviewer Comments: hilltop villa was everything and more. the house was very clean, the kitchen was very well equipped and everything functioned great. the pool was so nice to come back to after a day on the boat or from the beach. we loved this house and didn't have one issue or complaint. wait... we did have one issue....we didn't stay long enough. hahaha.. hilltop is a very special property for a certain type of traveler. that is one who appreciates a vacation home as such in the abacos. thank you elbow cay properties and congratulations to the new owner. we will see you soon hilltop. thank you from the okuszka's for a great hopetown vacation

Heaven on a Hilltop

Overall it is a very convenient home to stay in. the only draw backs are: the kitchen knives are very poor, the dish washer leaks and the lack of basic items in the kitchen. we didn't use the dish washer at all. just noticed water on the floor. Items like foil, food wraps and bags should be supplied.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It's a great house. Very clean and comfortable. We did lose power twice but only for a couple of hours. We also ran out of water but someone came very quickly to refill the tank. There is a kayak with the house but no paddle- we had heard that ahead of time and brought our own. We loved having a plunge pool and the rooftop area was awesome. This house is convenient to everything although next time we may look for something that's beachfront. Overall we loved it!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is great. Right by the water, the lower dock and coffee shop. I will have to say that the only negatives are there is no soap in the bathrooms. NOTHING. No handsoap, shampoo.. ect. Next, a warning e-mail from rental company on the power being out for 5 hours would have been nice. We had wedding activities to go to all day and couldn't shower, go to the bathroom or have A/C when it is really hot outside. Lastly, the master and secondary bedroom have the hardest beds and pillows I have ever slept on. I usually am not a complainer on this sort of thing but everyone else staying at the house said the same thing. The only comfortable bed was the loft. It was the worst sleep I have ever had. I probably wouldn't book this house again if I was coming back to the Bahamas.

Beautiful Garden House

Positivities first: Spacious house, beautiful & peaceful interior garden with plenty of deck seating. Nice master bedroom. Negatives: Getting a little dated with the dark and heavy Bahama decor. Needs work. Dishwasher still doesn’t clean (noted previously in a review), doors do not lock and it really is a 2 bedroom with an inconvenient loft. 2nd bedroom very cramped. Interior street. All in all nice but overpriced.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house needs some work. Doors don't lock or in one case even close correctly. Faucets look in bad shape in bathroom. Many lights not functioning. Furniture in up stairs deck is dangerous and rusting to the point of being dangerous to use. No paddles for kayaks. Dishwasher did not clean dishes and made horrible grinding noises. Pillows not of quality expected at this price point in bedroom. Pots and cutlery limited. 3rd bedroom is loft with a ladder not useable for most people. Can't recommend with the work it needs but has potential to be worth the current price but is really a 2 bedroom.

The property is spacious, charming,well-equipped and the patio, garden and dipping pool at ground level was amazing as was the view and breeze at the upper deck overlooking the Sea of Abaco and to the East, the Atlantic. The property is well situated in town near the lower public dock, close to shops and a few minute walk to an incredibly beautiful stretch of Atlantic beach! Could not have asked for a better property. The management team was responsive and proactive in ensuring our stay was beyond enjoyable.

We love the Settlement

It is a garden paradise and well built. However, you should note- pool is very small; house has a bad musty smell (rental agent insisted they had done all they could); third bedroom is only a loft at the top of a steep ladder with no bathroom (not good for those who get up in middle of the night). For us the location was perfect. We kept our boat at the Lower Dock only two blocks away. The little street is quiet and peaceful. The best thing about the house is the gazebo on top. It is a great place too watch sunsets, Harbour and Lighthouse. We would rent house again but would have fewer people.

Family Vacation to Elbow Cay

Staff at Elbow Cay Properties were very friendly and willing to help with anything we needed. LOVED watching the sun rise and set on the the rooftop balcony! Would definitely recommend staying here!

Perfect for entertaining!

We stayed at Hill Top for a week in mid March for a week long family vacation. We really liked the house and how expansive it is for entertaining (we had 8 adults and 2 babies for dinner). There were 4 adults and one baby that stayed the week and it was so lovely! The pictures dont do justice to the grounds as the plants are lush and and we felt secluded even though we were close to other homes. The pool was cool but refreshing and the top of the tower overlooks the entire island and a great place to read and relax. The owners have included good appliances, utensils, pots/pans, plenty of towels and many extras to make you feel at home. The location is close to the management company and the ferry if needed. Also very close to the beach and restaurants. We would highly recommend this property.

Great vacation place!

Brought my family back to the Abacos after many years away. Normally, you think you won't be at your house with so much to do all around you but this place so is close to everything and has so many great amenities, we were there a lot. Watching the sunsets on the Sea of Abaco, swimming in the pool after a day on the boat, walking to the shops and restaurants all around. Beautiful, totally top notch furniture and equipped home! The rental company was also close and so very nice to work with!
