Case in affitto a Hope Valley

“Wonderful property, close to many amenities. The "Green Shop" next door was very convenient and friendly also. The host was very pleasant to communicate with and very prompt to respond. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking in a quiet area of Sheffield with easy transit access!”

“Nice property, lots of sleeping space, outside space good too. No cooker or oven, so don't plan to cook whilst staying. Lots of nice restaurants and take aways.”

“We loved our stay in this beautiful, accessible home. It was a great location and the host was very helpful. ”

“Perfect room great are nice and clean and very quiet”

“Beautiful, cosy two bed cottage, there was a double room and a room with bunk beds (plus a sofa bed we didn't use). Beds were comfortable, decor was nice, the area is very quiet and was easy to find. We had everything we needed, the ground coffee and milk sachets was a great touch. We really enjoyed the terrace overlooking the canal, but it's worth mentioning the steps to the terrace are shallow and steep, so not easy to navigate if any mobility issues - though there is a hand rail and we...

“Nice revisit of old haunts in Walkley”

“The house was a surprise, covering 3 floors. Amazing bathroom and very spacious bedrooms. Rrally clean and welcoming. Short walk into Buxton.”

“The description does not state anywhere that this property is a a house share. It specially states when booking, that you and your guests will have entirety of the property to yourselves. Upon arrival, the host was at the property and told myself that he would be staying in the room above. There were no safety precautions in place to separate ourselves from the host. The host then offered us a refund, but when contacted by Expedia declined this. Appalling customer service.”

“Very spacious apartment and exactly as described. We love Kelham island so this location was perfect. Delicious cafes just at the end of the street or a 10 minute walk. Parking wasn’t a problem but you do need to pay.”

“The property was reasonably priced and as advertised. The manager was helpful as I was stupid, groggy, tired after camping and a long hike with my daughter upon approaching the property. The property manager really helped us out. I also met the cleaner of the property one of the most real and down to earth people you could ever meet. Who definitely deserves a pay rise, even more so when cleaning up after people like me. All positive notes, there's nothing negative that I could even make up....

“The house has many good points but overall it all felt a bit cheap and tacky, and like the host was cost cutting at every opportunity. For example, the shower gels offered were all little tiny bits left behind by other guests. Some instant coffee was left. It was a tiny amount, just enough for the 6 adults to have one cup of coffee. Just all a bit mean. The house was very hot and there were no fans. Although we shut the curtains they were so flimsy the sun and heat still got through...

“The property was ideally located for what we needed. It was clean & tidy, the only drawback was the building work going in around the place, it did get quite noisy. Obviously that’s just a temporary situation. The hosts were great & very quick to respond to any queries.”

“Recommend the bed needs a mattress protector for hygiene and to protect the mattress. The property is renovated to good modern standards for an old cottage. Shops bars restaurants taxi rank all close by. Home is clean. Host is good with communication. Definitely would stay again.”
