The hotel started off fine until the middle of the night people were yelling and running up and down the hallway. We went into the hallway to go outside and you could smell weed all in the hall and in the elevator. When its a no smoking hotel. In the morning there was no breakfast included, which is advertised. The hot tub and pool were nowhere to be found. So if you are looking for a peaceful place to stay I don't recommend this hotel.

Staff was friendly, but check-in - even after prepaying. - was slow. While the room was clean and comfortable, the lobby, elevator, hallways (all common areas) were not clean, but rather tatty. The elevator smelled like weed, my room smelled like weed. At about 1:30am, there was a loud and long argument in the room next to mine. That can't be blamed on the hotelier, but perhaps does speak to the quality of patrons. In the end, it was a fair price for the room in my opinion, but my wife would have likely refused to stay there.

Check in guy was nice. Check in easy. Hotel was in bad shape. A mess. Not sure if renovating but it was a mess and dirty. Garbage was piled up in the hall on the 4th floor. No Kleenex in room. Couldn’t find breakfast. Seemed like a lot of “residents” hanging around. Only good thing was the bed was comfortable. Not with the $75

Never Again

The hotel is very run down and needs some TLC. We had booked for 3 nights to stay at this hotel to attend an event being held there. As we checked in we were told that we would not have hot water starting the afternoon of the second day of our reservation. By 5:00 a.m. the second day there was not any hot water. The place was so run down we did not eat the complimentary breakfast. The hotel did allow us to check out with a full refund for us to book at another hotel. When we attended our event the bar was not equipped to provide drinks and the bar tender was unable to make even the most standard drinks. I was thankful that our event was catered by someone other than the hotel. The women’s bathroom was dirty and the overhead light for the bathroom was sitting on a couch in front of the bathroom stalls. They allow families with pets to stay there for long periods of time and found out that most of the people staying there had been there for months. We will not be returning to stay at this hotel.

Terrible, terrible terrible

After they were able to program two Card keys, which took them to attempts. We made it to our room to find it had not been properly cleaned. The smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling, covered in some kind of sticky goo and cockroach poop. There was trash in the drawers and coffee all in the coffee maker , AC had an inch gap all the way around it, allowing bugs, and dirt in the room. The room also had a very musty/damp, fell which later I discovered was because the fill valve in the commode was messed up, which would occasionally cause the toilet to overflow. I repaired this valve myself as it is a simple 30 second adjustment clearly showing after multiple issues noted in the room that the Maintenance staff if that is what you would call them didn’t know anything about what they were doing. Soap dispensers were left Empty in the shower. Yet they were full of mold and mildew the shower curtain was installed in properly and falling out of the wall The ice machine did not work the vending machine did not work the swimming pool/sauna/gym has been closed for over two years by the health department, so why that is still listed as something the Hotel offers. I would like to know. It was also a routine issue for keys to stop working. As I found out later from the biker club. That was also staying. There was because the hotel was deleting your keys, and giving them to other guest by mistake as multiple members of the biker gang walked in on other patriots of the Hotelby accident

People were friendly. Rooms are a nice size. But the gym and pool were closed 😕. I was hoping to use them so I could keep workingout. My job is physical that was the main reason I choose them.

This place is an absolute nightmare. The place is supposed to be nonsmoking, yet the first room we were placed in smelled like it’d been smoked in for years. We then got another room and there were holes in the walls, stains on the sheets and comforters, and cigarette burns in the mattress. We were so disappointed, we left the next morning when we had booked it for 2 nights. Word of advice, DO NOT book here.

We chose this hotel because they had a pool there. When I made the reservation nothing was said about the pool being shut down, when we checked in they said nothing about the pool being shut down. We went to our room only one elevator was working. Got our 2 yr old changed into bathing suit went to pool only to see it was out of service. The power went out, I had to work on the toilet to get it working. It was not a clean hotel. They didn’t offer any refunds or any other places with pools. Just a very disappointing weekend experience.

I was charged for a room that I didn't even stay in and now they're refusing to give me a refund. The pool was shut down by the health dept. The place is falling apart. My room was DISGUSTING. My shampoo, condition and body wash were OPEN AND USED. Splatters of God knows what on the headboard. Couldn't hang any of the clothes on the rack because it was broken and shoved into a hole in the wall. Mold of some sort on the baseboard. The bathroom ceiling is practically falling in. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Despite giving a low rating for this hotel, I have to talk about some of the good things. Oliver, at the front desk, was great. The beds and pillows were very comfy and made for a goodnights sleep. The room wasn’t dirty. The reason I rated this low is because there was no mention online of it being in the process of renovation. There was supposed to be breakfast, but when we got there a little after eight, there was no juice in the machine – in fact it didn’t even look like it was working, fruit was very minimal, in the refrigerator that would normally have milk, butter, yogurt type items nothing but freezer packs. I think they might’ve had waffles, but I couldn’t tell. The pool was closed and the fitness room was closed. You could tell they were renovating, but it would’ve been nice to know that ahead of time. Possibly that is why the price was good. We could not get our TV to work and Oliver came to try to get it. He did offer us to change rooms but after getting everything in and settled, we decided not to do that. I think once this hotel is done, it will be better. I don’t think I would stay there again until it was.

Great owners trying to turn an old Holiday Inn (now Clarion) around. They were super sweet. Basic rooms that were clean and quiet. No issues at all. Would stay there again if I ever needed a bed in that area.

If you just need a cheaper, clean place to sleep and shower, then i highly recommend this place. If your the judger type person that every little thing is going to bother you then you need a more updated hotel. The place needs some major updates but its clean and cheaper.
