“Room was damp and was not what was advertised online Booked for 2 night stay but just needed one and owner not willing to compromise charges Charged and extra 140$ that was not clarified nor returned Gina (staff) said she would talk to the owner and asked me to call back to speak to owner but never received call She also was very defensive and hostile in her tone when discussing a possible refund for just one night ”

“Excellent hotel to escape the city and relax for a weekend, quiet, beautiful surroundings and the hotel offer great service, very nice restaurant open all day with room service and nice cozy rooms.”

“A remodeled room, very spare, needed more furniture--a chair, maybe a bench to put things on. The walls needed something. It felt cold so devoid of decoration.”

“We got one of the less expensive rooms and it was as good size with a fireplace and a huge bathroom. Staff was really friendly. The fire smores and movie at night was a nice touch. Great hot breakfast every morning, nice hot-tub, beautiful surroundings, and very quiet and peaceful. ”

“The breakfast was amazing, I was in the Safari room, which was very very cool, the owner had just refreshed the courtyard for summer, and they had an amazing little band that the owner participated on Organ with a violin player with a guitar singer. It was the perfect place, it was perfect weather, I will come again.”

“THIS is a special property, more than a hotel. It’s an Inn of cottages that pulls you in. The owner and staff is genuinely friendly and helpful. This is my second stay here and both times felt like I was ‘home’. I was even upgraded to a larger room just because they had it available. Oh, and the breakfast that is provided is off the charts satisfying. Another sweet offering there is their fire pit that is a circle of warmth—with s’mores and new friends to make. I will always stay here when in...
