“This is a great boutique resort ideal for couples. Those with kids may find other places a better fit (El Silencio for example).
Intimate room setups with private hot tubs, excellent restaurant with live music during dinner, and a very nice pool setup for relaxing. The beds were super comfy and staff was wonderful. No view of the volcano but there is a sloth that lives up in one of the trees. For those looking for an intimate, relaxing setting, this is a great spot.”

One of the best things about staying at hostel chains as a solo traveler is the consistency in quality and service, and this one definitely delivered. “Honestly an amazing little spot near the city center. Quiet comfortable and everything you need. One of the light bulbs burnt out and they were there within minutes to replace it. Helpful with things to do around as well”

“L'albergo è appena fuori da La Fortuna, ma comunque molto vicino al centro abitato e al Vulcano e al parco nazionale. La camera è spaziosa e pulita, la colazione era varia e buona, la proprietaria è stata incredibilmente gentile e disponibile.

“Hotel Alicia was an easy walk to the centre of La Fortuna and lots of restaurants. Our room was small, but clean with comfortable beds, with a large separate bathroom. I would have liked a lamp on the bedside table as the lighting in the room wasn't that good.
