“This was a great stay, we came in late after a long flight and just wanted a place to crash for the night before heading south. It was quiet, clean and cool: we had AC and bed was comfy: a private shower/bathroom. My host was lovely and got up early to make us HUGE breakfast before we caught the train in Colombo. He arranged our (reasonably priced) taxi to the station and gave us free fresh bananas from his yard for the ride. 10/10 for the quick stay. Thanks again”

“My highlight was meeting the owner and his wife. So knowledgeable about many things. It was a delight to talk to them and learn about the culture. This is a small hotel but it was really well kept up and very clean. The bathroom was great - a kitchen to make coffee and tea and a small breakfast if you wanted it. Not many restaurants nearby, but one that is an 8 minute walk. I chose to eat there several times (named "Coffee Boss"). Great selection of cafe drinks and a great menu of food. ...

“ho soggiornato giusto qualche ora la sera prima di partire, avendo il volo alle 6 di mattina... le camere sono un po' piccoline e le foto non rispecchiano molto la realtà ma per riposare qualche ora vanno bene il servizio navetta 24h ci ha salvato, il tuk tuk ci aveva bidonato. Navetta pagata 700 rupie , per essere le 3 di notte è un prezzo ragionevole”

“I enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are basic but clean. The man working here is fantastic! He helped me plan my bus route to Tissa, showed me how to get to certain places in Negombo, provided me with an umbrella to shade myself ruin the intense sun while walking around, etc. it's a 2min walk to the bus station as well ”

“The hotel was oberbooked and didn’t informed us. Once we show up they try to allocate us in another horrible facilities. We try to get the refund but they didn’t allow it.”

“Had misunderstanding at the same time we did not have privacy as it was mentioned for this booking. Had the share the unit with multiple family. Later the manager tried to help but not good enough.”

“Only gets one star because I can't give zero. I feel like all the other reviewers stayed at a different hotel. Think of this as more of an overpriced hostel than a hotel. Our arrival was an inconvenience to the porter watching Star Wars, he found our paperwork in silence, grabbed the TV and AirCon remotes and key from a cupboard and showed us to our room. He spent about 30seconds opening the door, walked in and turned on the air con then turned around and walked out. While the bed sheets and...
