“Sugar beach location was roughly 10-15 minutes from downtown. The beach on site, was ideal. Beach chairs need to be updated.. could be nicer. The balcony decks need cleaned. Hotel room was nice.. Breakfast delivered to room was nice in the morning, not having to go down to a lobby was a plus. Coffee machine in room could be updated.”

“Very dated motel. Stayed here for the nostalgia, as I grew up going to HoJo's around the US. Check in was ok, but no one there to check out. Stairs to the room were rusty with peeling paint. Crumbling sidewalks. Felt unsafe.
Shower curtain had that foul, sour smell--needs to be soaked in bleach or disinfectant. A real turn off.
Beds seemed clean and we're comfy.
Breakfast was surprisingly good--hard-boiled eggs, oatmeal, cereal, breakfast bars, muffins, juices, coffee, and best of all,...
