“I understand this was an eco lodge. However, there is no air and little cross breeze. Our bed was broken, there were not enough towels (only 3 for 5 people), we were encouraged to shower by turning the water off while we used soap, the pots and pans were so dirty that some could not be cleaned. The worst was that the staff was unprofessional. They did not communicate effectively, they were dismissive about simple requests (like "how to check in") and once we did check in we NEVER heard from...

“This place is unique, and the huge trees on the property are amazing. You can pick your own fruit and macadamia nuts even, and keep or eat them.
The set up of the "common area" is a bit odd, with the main room being part of the hostesses house. The pictures of the beautiful kitchen that I saw in the listing was very misleading, as the kitchen is 100% hands off, guests are not allowed to touch it. Which was really weird and not welcoming, and odd that you can be right next to the hosts personal...

“This is a unique property in a cute rural setting. I could see how it’s not for everyone and it’s most definitely non-traditional. However, the setting is beautiful and the accommodations are adorable. Bed was comfortable, staff were pleasant; although for the most part we were on our own for check in, etc. No issues there, clear communication with directions and door codes were provided.
There are indeed a number of ‘rules’ but I saw them more as a guide for how to use this special property...
