Visiting Michigan Tech? Couples getaway? Business trip? This is the perfect place in downtown Houghton for your needs! Perfect spacious place for 2 with so much to do right out the front door! Walking distance to restaurants, shopping, parks, public library and more! Access to the waterfront walking path is in the parking lot. Enjoy the beauty of the Portage Lift Bridge!

This suite is located on ground level. Spacious bedroom and living room. Bedroom has a large closet, all linens and towels provided. Window unit a/c in bedroom. Smart Tv in living area only. Kitchen is well stocked. High speed fiber optic wifi.

So much to see along waterfront. Enjoy the views of the Portage Lift bridge and gorgeous views of the sun setting. Bring your own bikes or firewood and enjoy the waterfront path. (Public firepit area next to Portage Library). Many photo props along the path and painted murals to see. Walking distance to Chutes & Ladders park where there is paddle board and bike rentals, ice cream, corn-hole and more!

1 parking pass provided for duration of stay. Must be returned to suite upon check out. **Please pay attention to designated overnight parking area during winter months **

Houghton is a wonderful city! We used this place as a home base for traveling to Calumet, Copper Harbor, and neighboring sites. For the two of us, this unit had everything we needed- a kitchen with coffee maker & essentials, a wonderful shower, and a comfortable den and bedroom. We really enjoyed the short walking distance to numerous restaurants and shops. Parking in the nearby lot was close by and not a problem. The host was most accommodating and communicated clearly. We had a wonderful time!

Easy check in. Parking right across the street. Clean, bed is comfortable. Walking distance to some local restaurants. Prior reviews have commented that there is traffic noise outside. They do provide sound machine in bedroom. Nice. We used it. Yes, garbage services do pick up large dumpsters early a.m. but gone quickly. Minimal traffic during the week. Stayed Monday - Thursday.

We wanted the convenience of staying downtown Houghton and this was perfect! Wonderful apartment stocked well, clean and beautiful. Easy walk to Suomi and KBC! Highly recommend.
