View is AMAZING!
My absolute favorite part of this home is the view! It was unmatched! The homeowner was super friendly and nice! She was ALWAYS available when I called! Checkin was super easy and she didn’t have a ton of rules like some owners! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! It was myself and 6 other ladies and we had plenty of sleeping room…The only part that concerned me was the roaches in the garbage cans would sometimes make it to the deck and one creeped its way in the house…BUT that’s just me being honest because the house was clean I think it was just because it’s by woods and water that bugs are even an issue…RENT THE HOUSE! It’s worth every Penny!

Unique location
We loved our stay at the river. Super quite. Loved the pool and outdoor area. Perfect size for us 2. Views from living room/kitchen were amazing. Loved the hot tub. Easy communication with property management.

Perfect place to relax and unwind
This property was awesome. We take a 4th of July trip each year. This by far was the best house we’ve been to. Communication with Mariana was excellent, the home was very clean, pretty Much how it was described in listing, and the neighborhood is quiet and easy to get to. We took full advantage of the pool and outdoor kitchen space. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Great Time in Texas!
This property was great for my friends and I! The jacuzzi and pool were great and worked wonderful! We were even able to utilize the grill that was there! Everything worked as normal and there was plenty of sleeping space! Will definitely be back!

Diva Getaway
The house was perfect for our weekend. The hot tub was an added bonus. Three bedrooms with two tv’s. The bathroom faucets and shower heads can be updated but other than that it was great.

Birthday weekend
The property was a beautiful as pictured. The check in was simple and the home was clean! The location wasn’t too far from all of the places we traveled to and the scenery was overall beautiful. I loved staying here and would definitely recommend others to stay. The host was a super host, very helpful and responsive ! I wouldn’t change a thing

Amazing Getaway

Great Summer Getaway
We had a great time! My overall experience was exactly what I was looking for and the owner was AWESOME! Super responsive and totally gracious when my 4 year old broke a decorative bowl! My only issue would be the pictures are a bit generous and make the place look larger than it is in real life. That being said, we had an amazing trip and would definitley go back!

Wonderful home and view
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Mariana was very responsive and always answer all our questions and concerns promptly. The views are hard to beat and the pool is always kept so clean. Highly recommend this house for a nice getaway from the hustle of the city.

Beautiful property and view!
We spent three nights on the river with our 2 kids and their grandparents. The house was perfect. We spent most of our time in the pool, playing ping pong and foosball and enjoying the gorgeous view. Mariana was very helpful and responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

Great pool and outdoor space
This is a great property for a family wanting to get away. I had read previous reviews that the house is small and it is. However, the floor plan of the home maximizes the space wonderfully. Additionally, we did not stay inside much because the outdoor areas were fabulous. We took full advantage of the pool and the sitting areas while enjoying the view of the river and all the boats. My family of eight adults stayed in this house and we had a wonderful time just relaxing, BBQing, and enjoying the fabulous sunsets. Also, I would like to add that the owners were very responsive in checking that we had everything we needed. Thanks for a great stay.

Great getaway house
The location was beautiful, looked just as described. Like others have said, the pictures make the house look much bigger but there was plenty of room for 6 adults and 1 kid. Beds were really comfortable.

Overall a really enjoyable stay and good location
The property was really clean and in an excellent location for our stay, the amenities at the property were very good but the pictures do make the property seem larger than it is. As a group of 12 adults the property was not large enough to make our stay work comfortably. I would however recommend this property for a smaller group or a family travelling with older children. The owners were very helpful when ever I spoke to them and were happy to resolve and fix any issues very quickly. Overall a good property to stay at.

More Thank Expected
I booked this property because my father is a patient at MD Anderson (a cancer hospital), so we were there under very unfortunate circumstances. Now if anyone has ever had to be a patient and/or a patients family of friends, at any of the hospital in Houston's medical district, then you are well aware of the fact, that any hotel you stay at, you have a constant reminder of tragedy and death. Having said that, you also know that part of healing and/or acceptance, is state of mind, and the experience of staying at this house is truly unforgettable. The travel time to the medical district was only about 30-45 minutes depending on the time of day, but is more than worth it. Not only is the house unbelievable, but the pool is perfect, and nothing can beat the sunrises and sunsets. Not to mention, is it literally the most quiet neighborhood I've ever been to, and if you are right on the river, like this house is, then everyone going by in their boats are friendly, and respectful. Additionally, the owners went above and beyond, to make sure that we enjoyed our stay as much as possible, they are truly great people. So in summary, its worth every penny and more.

Wonderful Property
Enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, secluded home. Yet, still close to attractions. Woke up every morning to scores of leaping fish, end the evening with the amazing flight of dragon flies! Home was comfortable and great for us.

nice, relaxing...slightly different from listing
Loved our vacation! Just to let you know...we reviewed the listing and made a choice for this location based on photos and reviews...and were a little disappointed to see the home was not as big as the pics demonstrated. The 2nd bedroom was smaller so there wasn't a lot of room for luggage. The kids room was also smaller than we imagined so we never turned on the fan since it was so close to the top bunk. the master was nice, again just smaller than the pics make it seem. We did have everything we needed for cooking and the pool was nice and clean...the temp was perfect, the fishing was great too but we have little kids so we had to be extra careful with them not going to the edge or trying to go down those stairs because they lead right into the water. there's only partial fencing so be careful with your kids since the pool and the edge of the property like a foot or two away, its really close. They did have a foosball and ping pong table. The pool table had water damage so it was broken but our kids didn't mind since they love foosball. I have to say the view was beautiful, so amazing to wake up to that every morning and just wonderful at night too. There were lots of bugs both inside and out which caused chaos at times for us cause our kids do not like spiders or roaches (none of us like those! not used to seeing those ever before!) and they were quite a bit of webs in the house. we cleaned it but we made sure we didnt' leave any food out because of the roaches. there were other little issues that the owner addressed with us immediately, she was awesome in communicating with us too. one other thing we had a big issue with was the lock to the front door, it can easily be opened and since our 3yr old is nonverbal, it was a constant issue with having to pull the chair to the door and keeping an eye out for him to get out. I think with any child, verbal or not, you should take precautions since the pool is very accessible. All in all, it was a good vacation...except for the bugs inside the house. I don't know that I would rent it again since we did have to keep washing the linens due to the bugs and had to actually run the final dishwasher load, clean the house and throw out all the garbage, and take off all the linens again before we left. I didn't read the fine print correctly and figured the final cleaning and removal of everything would be done by a cleaning service as I've done w/other home rentals that were less expensive.

Awesome trip!
Property manager was super easy to work with and the house/property was perfect! The kids loved the pool and my husband and I really enjoyed the view. Everything we needed was on site and easily accessed. Will definitely book again!

Beautiful river side view. Outside of the pace of downtown. Hang out by the pool, BBQ and visit the battleship “Texas” followed by lunch at the Monument Restaurant.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The house was beautiful and the amenities were over the top. The only issue I had was that my dad pulled his boat all the way from Natchitoches LA and we could use the boat lauch a few feet from the house, Other than that, the entire weekend was nice. I'd definitely rent again.

Beautiful Getaway
My family if 4 stayed for 4 nights and it was great. The pool was a huge hit with the kids! The water pressure is very poor for the showers. The property is beautifully kept and the kids had a blast. We would definitely stay again. So worth the drive as we live over 10 hours away and went there for a little vacation

Needs a detailed cleaning
The house wasn't as clean as I thought it would be. The floors were dirty and we had to clean the pots before we used them. The pictures make the place look bigger than it really is. We had to clean the pool it was full of leaves and one of the umbrellas was in the pool. The pool vacuum doesn't work well. It cleans the same spot even if you move it to a different part of the pool, it manages to go back to the middle and stay there.

Enjoyed our stay.
We very much enjoyed our stay. Perfect size house for our family of six. We have four boys so the bunk beds worked well. The house had all new appliances and seemed freshly updated throughout. The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked(minus a toaster for some reason). The pictures are accurate and the view is great. The ping pong table, foosball table and mini pool table in the pictures however were not as advertised. Either not there or complete junk. Not a deal breaker but would have been a nice touch with our boys. The only other complaint I have is that a pool heater would be a nice. We stayed mid-March and while the weather was 75-80 degrees the pool would have had much more use had it been heated. Given the fact that we have four boys, we always look for a pool! We loved the quiet neighborhood but be prepared to drive 30+ minutes to most attractions. Make no mistake, this is a great place to stay and I would highly recommend a stay here. As a review reader, I like to know what we are getting and I don't think you will be disappointed with this property at all. Honestly, you will love this place!

Quiet location with beautiful river view. Clean and modern home.
We enjoyed our stay. About 25 minutes from Houston where it is scenic and quiet. The river view was the best part. Our kids enjoyed watching the tugs and barges. Don’t rely on entertainment from the “games” poolside though... they were all broken and not useable. The bar area could be nice on a warm day. The pool is not heated so be forewarned! Our kids still enjoyed it. The smaller pool is not a hot tub; we were a bit disappointed with that. We needed blankets for the pull out couch and the pool needed some cleaning, but the owners were very prompt on addressing that. Kitchen was equipped with the necessities, minus a toaster. The WiFi worked great and the surround sound on the smart tv was great. There is just one TV in the house though, none in the bedrooms. Overall it was a nice place to stay and the owners and the rental company were responsive. Enjoyed it.

Amazing view
The home is as pictured! The ac was nice and cold which is important in this crazy heat and humidity! We fired up the bbq pit and enjoyed the pool, kids loved it. The fish were biting like crazy, most were small but it was fun reeling them in! We also cooked a dinner using the kitchen, you are provided with almost everything to do so. And, I also want to mention that the towels and linens were luxury. The beds were so comfortable. I slept like a rock. Overall, its a great getaway home or vacation spot for both the kids and adults!

Nice place. A bit of a drive from down town though enjoyable and peaceful outside the city.
