The staff was great! And the hotel and our room was good. The only negative thing I have to say is that this could be a BEAUTIFUL hotel, IF the money was spent to update everything! Carpet was old and worn, t.v.'s we're too small, and the drain in our bathroom had a awful smell. And you had to run the water for 20 minutes or so before you had hot water....If money was spent to update fixtures,t.v.'s, carpet, paint, etc....AND the indoor pool could be AWESOME, but it was cloudy and ice cold....If heated and clean, would be a great asset to this hotel. The marble floor and chandelier in the lobby were breathtaking....Just UPDATE PLEASE and probably would triple your business...

It was a comfortable stay and the room was clean except for the old carpeting in the room and hallways. The breakfast was disappointing with only egg and potatoes (no meats) along with the usual breakfast foods. The orange juice was watered down even after the staff had changed it. Aside from this, the staff was attentive at check in and check out.

Stolen medication
The hotel and service were fine. However, someone stole some of my medication that was left in the room. I had the pills in a daily flip top organizer and two of the pills disappeared. My own fault? Perhaps. But who would be stupid enough to take pills when they don’t even know what they are for?? The pills cost eleven dollars each and I need them to live. Fortunately I still had enough for the trip. Also, how much does one have to spend to get a toilet seat that isn’t loose and wobbly? The toilet ran water continuously and was not repaired during the four days we were there even though the problem was reported on the first day. The bathroom door was also in shabby condition and repaired with duck tape. Overall, pretty disappointed.

The staff was friendly and everything was clean.. My toilet was stopped up one day and i asked the front desk to take care of it one morning and when returned that night it had not been done.

Well this place was decent, some staff were friendly others were not, depends on who is check you in, rooms were clean, small but decent, if you are ever looking for a small decent hotel this one was be it, also the whole reserve now pay later its not real, had the pay the full total once I got there first day, since pool is in doors its freezing cold, the vent to let out the smell of pool (strong smell) also the hotel did have a smell like toxic almost like pesticide, but over all it was okay I got a room with 2 beds, I like that down the street there was a beach, plus there are a lot of warehouses down there that give out a lot of pollution.

Stayed for 3 nights. The bathroom doors, toilet, and ceilings were all dirty. The ceiling above the bed looked like it had mold spots. The jacuzzi tub was also dirty so we couldn’t even use it. Our room door also wouldn’t shut without being slammed possibly waking neighbors. Would never come back to this location.

This is a great place to stay with kids. The beach was only a 10 min drive away. Staff was very friendly. Was disappointed that they didn’t have a Hot tub even tho it was in the pictures. I would stay here again.

As always the staff was very professional polite and accommodating. Anytime I come to La Porte I say here, it's the perfect location. 10min drive to the beach an 25min drive to Kemah Broadwalk

Very poor service and treatment
Sunday was spring forward time change and when we figured out the rooms time showed 15 min till we hurried Dow to eat breakfast. Well we made it In time to eat but they turned off. The lights to rush us out of th breakfast area. Then I asked for an extra blankest and pillow and they said they were out I don’t know about you business but I’d rather stay down the road with bed bugs then be treated like I’m not wanted

I booked through hotel.com and seen they had a rollaway for my kid. I asked front desk and they said they don’t carry them. Asked for a blanket and extra pillow and was told they don’t have extras to give. So I had to go pay for a air up mattress for the nasty floor cause I couldn’t move or cancel. Very bad service from on site front desk people. When we went to eat breakfast at about 845am they close at 9 and of course we didn’t finish eating in 15min they turned off the lights to force people to leave! The kitchen staff was rude and demanding us to leave breakfast was over! Yes it was but people still eat afterwards and was forcing us to leave. The worst experience ever and I stay all the time in all types of motels and this one was the worst in my life! Wouldn’t stay here again not friendly and to add they had an indoor pool that was ice cold and the floors where slippery my kids fell a bunch till they hit there heads and slid into chairs did we just leave the pool, worst indoor pool ever! I’d give this place a very poor rating!

Although our ability to rectify some of the issues you bring up with regards to the facilities is limited, we understand and appreciate your feedback.
