Cigarette burns on the bedding, what I can only assume was left over drugs on the bathroom counter, no crossbar on door, no continental breakfast, bums camping in the parking lot. Overall not satisfied with the stay, the rooms should have been far better for the price

Palace Inn 45N/Crosstimber location.
The area around the hotel isnt the best, and the hotel told us that. Cant really hide it. BUT...the owners and staff of the hotel were the BEST. I cant say enough about how friendly and willing to help out they were. Price and secure parking were great as well. Location was good, right by the 45 freeway and plenty of restaurants in the area.

A place to lay your head that's it
The guy behind the counter was friendly but I really couldn't understand anything he said. I like the fact the place is gated but you have to park your car and get out swipe card and run back to your car fast before gate closes on you. I also didn't have heat any heat whatsoever.

I am sorry for the inconvenience, FYI once you swipe the card for the gate, gate remains open until the car passes it. Regarding the heater, if you would have called front desk, they could have helped you. I have made notes for the maint. dept. Next time when you come, we will make sure that you will be happy. Thank you for your review. However, our hotel policy is registered guests only and you partner tried to bring an unregistered guest to the room while you were not there and you had additional unregistered guests in the room.

Hotel was nice, clean room, gated parking was very nice. Front desk clerk had an attitude problem. Area was full of homeless people walking around asking for money.

Thank you for your review. However, the power was out for a couple of hours when you had arrived. We didn't want to put you in a room with no air conditioner and we didn't know when the power was going to return.

Gated Parking = Awesome!
Gated parking definitely separates them from the pack. I was actually hauling a motorcycle trailer so it was a extremely comforting to know only guests would be able to venture in to the parking lot. Room was great for the price. Not much more you can ask for!

I’d Rather sleep in my car!
Terrible service from the first greeting of the manager. Manager was being very sarcastic and a smart ass with me, it was very disrespectful. Not 5 minutes after entering my room and using the rest room, the toilet started leaking. They switched rooms for me but did that with an attitude also. All in all... do NOT stay here.

Clean, helpful, safe
Front desk manager was very welcoming and came up to our room later to make sure we were happy. Parking is fenced and gated which was nice. Not luxury by any means but great for a clean overnight stay.

Avoid this place
I accidentally booked this palace inn instead of a different one about 15 minutes away. What a mistake i made. The manager was not friendly and very difficult to hear and understand. I told him straight up i could not hear him and he still was yelling me something about signing a paper. Then after what seemed like forever we finally got our room keys. My first rooms ac was trashed. Wouldnt just Immediately give me another room and made me wait in a hot himid room to go try to fix an ac that he obviously knew was broken because it had obviously been broken a while. Gave me a 2nd room where the ac was barely hanging on but worked. Later that night i saw him rent the room with the broken ac out again. So he knew it was broken and put me in it anyway. Awesome. Bed was mediocre but passable. Woke up in the morning to hot water that was slightly above room temperature. Avoid this place at all costs. Theres other motels in the same area that are better than this.
