Sleeps 2-5. Wooden cabin with traditional grass roof. Cabin is self catering. With a fire place (free wood)
One bedroom with double bed & single bed plus double sofa bed. Additional mattress, baby travel cot and high chair available upon request.
Cabin has fully fitted kitchen (with kettle, coffee machine, toaster etc) , shower room/WC, under-floor heating, Free use of WiFi, BBQ, rowing boat, fishing gear and bicycles & sledges in winter. DVD player in cabin + movies you can borrow. A car is recommended, although not absolutely necessary. It is a 3 hour drive from Bergen city centre (3,5 hours from Bergen Airport) Public transport from Bergen by coach or ferry.

10 dejlige dage hen over julen som jeg altid vil huske. En køn hytte, som er udstyret med alt hvad man kan ønske sig. Området er smukt og overvældende. Og familien, som ejer hytten er ualmindelig søde og hjælpsomme.

Sehr schöner Urlaub

Super ruhige Umgebung. Perfekt mit Hund.Kontakt mit Vermieter unproblematisch.Wer die Ruhe sucht und abschalten will,hat hier die Perfekte Möglichkeit, sogar mit Polarlichtern im Januar.

Prachtig, rustig gelegen, mooi ingericht gezellig huisje.

Prachtige omgeving, maar je moet wel van sportieve wandelingen houden. Je kunt een heel mooie boottrip maken over de Fjord naar Vik. Aardige verhuurders! Wel tanken voor dat je er naar toe rijdt! In het dorpje is om de dag de buurtsuper open.

Nice House beautiful nature and view around the house

Wij zijn een week verbleven het was heel leuk lekker rustige plek met prachtige omgeving je kan er heerlijk wandelen door het bos achter het huisje is een rivier met meertje en als je wat verder door het bos loopt kom je bij een prachtige waterval uit ook hebben we lekker gevist met de kinderen en elke dag onze eigen vangst van de bbq opgegeten het is echt een aanrader wij waren er met 2 kinderen van 5 en 8 jaar top was het ook mochten we het bootje lenen

Boshut in prachtige omgeving

Eenvoudige maar comfortabele hut aan de rand van het bos. Charmante plek met mooi uitzicht op de vallei en de fjord. Perfect voor koppel want kleine slaapkamer. Voor 6 is het heel klein. Redelijk afgelegen want weg eindigt in het dorp. Best inkopen doen vooraf want slechts kleine winkel in dorp die niet iedere dag open is. Mooie maar wel moeilijke wandelmogelijkheden vanuit de hut. Veel klimmen op zeer ongelijk terrein. Wij hebben er van genoten en zouden zeker terugkomen als we in de buurt passeren.

Traumhafte Lage

Auch über das anfänglich schlechte Wetter konnte man wegen der beeindruckenden Lage und der Unterkunft hinwegsehen. Das "Wood Cabin" ist für zwei Personen sehr geräumig und super ausgestattet. Ich hätte mich gewünscht, dass das Lattenrost des großen Bettes nicht so knarrt. Bei jeder Bewegung klang es so, als würde es brechen. Dadurch war man ständig wach. Hinzu kommt, dass das dritte Bett nur wenige Zentimeter über dem Fußende des Hauptbettes hängt und ich ständig mit den Schienbeinen anstieß.

beautiful house in a great location

Good communication and preparation by the owner. The cleanliness on arrival was good and the online listing matched the reality. The location of the house is very nice. The furnishings match the type of house. Very harmonious overall. However, be careful with the connection: The ferry connection between Nordeide and Ortnevik is extremely poor. If you arrive on a Saturday, for example, you only have two departure times from Nordeide to choose from: 12.45 and 14.55. On the other days it doesn't look much better. We only used the Oppedal-Lavik connection. However, this always means a journey of approx. 60 km from Oppedal to Ortnevik.

Perfect Cabin on Sognefjord

The wooden cabin with grass roof at Brekke Cabins was perfect for our family! We were there 3 nights, but wished we could have stayed longer. The cabin was very clean, comfortably furnished and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location in the tiny town of Ortnevik on the Sognefjord is spectacular. We had breathtaking views of the fjord from our porch and amazing hiking right from the cabin door. Highlights of our stay included: exploring the sculpture garden on the property (carved by the owner's father); hiking to the lake above the cabin, and the waterfall beyond that; meeting friendly, local cows on the trails. It is truly one of the most beautiful, peaceful places we have ever been, and we hope to get back someday! One note: We rented a car for our trip, and arrived by ferry from Nordeide to Ortnevik. Ideally, you should have a reservation for this ferry. We did not know this, and luckily there was a spot for us, but make a reservation if you can. Also, you must back the car onto this ferry.

Es war ein ganz fantastischer Ort. Eine wunderschöne Hütte mit jeder Ausstattung die man braucht. Besonders der Kamin mit kostenfreiem Holz war an den Regentagen ganz wunderbar.

Tolle und gemütliche Cabin. Umgebung norwegisch verwunschen. Leider keinen Schnee in diesem Winter gehabt aber dafür 10 Tage Regen. Ansonsten sehr zu empfehlen.

Super gezellige blokhut met een geweldig uitzicht!

Heerlijke week gehad in deze gezellige blokhut. Vanuit hier een groot gedeelte van het prachtige Sognefjord verkend. Een week om nooit te vergeten en een echte aanrader voor iedereen die van rust en natuurschoon houdt.

The most beautiful place

Don't miss the chance to spent time at the most beautiful place on earth! The scenery is awesome. Fjord, woods, hills, lake. Everything is there near the cabin to enjoy and explore. The view from the Wooden Cabin is absolutely amazing and the cabin was clean and cozy. We had everything we needed and really enjioyed the peaceful- and quietness! It was a wonderful holiday! Traumhaft ruhige Umgebung

Ein sehr schöne und gut eingerichtete Hütte, dahinter nur noch Wald soweit das Auge reicht und davor ein toller Ausblick. Es fehlen ein paar Gartenstühle um ihn ausgiebig zu geniessen. Bei der Anreise sollte man evtl. berücksichtigen, das die Fähre nicht täglich die selbe Route fährt. Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder.
