“Absolutely charming! The owner and staff outdid themselves with welcoming us later in the evening and making sure to seat us in the quite lovely dining room for a hot meal before retiring to our spacious guest room upstairs. The room was today and had lots of thoughtful amenities: tea, coffee, a variety of snacks, lots of toiletries. Breakfast was very good and served with warmth and hospitality. Definitely a wonderful place to stay. ”

“Lovely property close to good restaurants and bars. Went fo muse concert at john smiths stadium. Good walk but well worth returning to. Nice comfortable accommodation.”

“Recommend the bed needs a mattress protector for hygiene and to protect the mattress. The property is renovated to good modern standards for an old cottage. Shops bars restaurants taxi rank all close by. Home is clean. Host is good with communication. Definitely would stay again.”

“It is a nice convenient hotel. Clean. Tea and coffee facilities were nice to settle down nicely on arrival and when I woke up in the morning. Mini refrigerator was handy to keep my leftover food in the refrigerator to eat in the morning. Comfortable table and internet. I give 4 star only as there was no toilet in the room and I hesitated to leave my room in the middle of the night.”

“Lovely little cottage, very peaceful and tidy, had all commodities that you could need and the beds were very comfy. Was perfect for a one night stay for 3 friends. Host was great and helpful with everything. Would definitely stay again if I was in the area. ”
