“This property is such a gem! We've stayed in many cabins similar to Carrie's before and this blew the others out of the water! Rustic but modern enough to where you felt at home. There were 2 large box fans provided so we didn't need the one that we had brought and there was a small tv to help the kids wind down and relax at night. “I have never stayed in a cleaner cabin! I was pleasantly surprised that they ask you to remove your shoes in the cabin, which was extremely nice since we have a 14 month old. It was a great secluded location. The shower head had a lot of pressure which was nice. More short term rental folks could take notes from these folks! They had hooks everywhere. Overall a great stay. ”

“We were pleasantly amazed how isolated we found the location . Very few people were on the beach. We managed the “non potable” water for cooking and cleaning. I was thankful I brought my air fryer to cook meats/potatoes in. I’m a foodie! “We really enjoyed our stay here. Cabin was clean and had most everything in the description. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, and we watched a couple of movies in the vcr. We had a fire outside every night and had fun in the kayaks. The only things we found negative were lack of hate for the stairs and no life jackets. Thankfully the lack is shallow for a ways. “We loved everything about this area. You can be as busy, or simply relax, as much as you want. We road our side by side and took in many of the attractions in the area. The cabin had ALL we could have ever needed, except maybe more fans. We had unseasonably warm temperatures and weren’t quite expecting that. All in all, a WONDERFUL U.P. experience. ”

“My wife and I spent a long weekend in the UP with our son and daughter in law and we are so happy we found this location. It was great for us! The place is just like it looks in the pictures, so no surprises! It's on a dirt road but only about a quarter mile off the pavement. As a result, it is VERY quiet, since the only cars you'll see are for other residents. We were there 4 days and saw the same truck twice... that's it! One thing that is not shown in the pictures is the pool table. Nice...
