1 ° piano - ingresso rinnovato di recente, piscina privata riscaldata, 2 camere da letto con letti queen size, 1 camera da letto con futon full size, 1 bagno completo
2 ° piano - cucina completamente attrezzata recentemente rinnovata, 1 bagno di servizio nuovo di zecca, ampio soggiorno con pavimenti in legno nuovo di zecca e zona pranzo con 8 posti a sedere. Grande terrazza con vista panoramica mozzafiato su Catskills e Hunter Ski Mountain
3 ° piano - ampio soppalco con 2 letti full size

Review

We really enjoyed our stay and the cabin. However, the cabin was dirty. The dining room table needed to be wiped down, and there was food underneath the beds in the loft, popcorn, etc. This definitely brought the rodents! Three of the lights were out in the living room ceiling, and there was no light on the upstairs porch. Please note also, that there is water seeping into the first floor. The bottom of the stairs was soaked with water coming up from the ground. The rugs on the first floor bedrooms were also wet creating one of the luggages to get wet that was on the floor. Not sure if it's from the pool or seeping up from the ground underneath.

Winter getaway

My family and I had a great time at this cabin. It was a great experience the cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The kids loved the pool. Carrie is a great host and communication was above and beyond we will definitely be coming back again !!!

Perfect weekend ski stay

Absolutely loved our time here and will be back! The weather was super cold and we were cozy and warm inside. The fireplace was great. The kitchen had what we needed. My husband and son really enjoyed the pool and the host was very attentive. Great location too!

Great Relaxy Weekend

We really enjoyed the property and the cabin. So peaceful. Had a nice fire inside and outside, grilled and hung out in the pool. After a long day it was great to fall into super comfy beds. Tx Carrie for your attentiveness

Family weekend

We had an amazing time. The property was awesome cabin was a real log cabin, which was great plenty of room and clean. The pool was an added bonus and everyone enjoyed it even my dog would highly recommend and will definitely book again.

Hunter Mountain Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. And the pool was awesome, just the right depth for everyone. Carrie is a great Hostess. We'll definitely be back again for our next family gathering.

Really Fun and Accomadating

Really fun stay and experience overall. We ran into a few issues with the property but the owner touched base with us in a timely, concerned, and proactive manner. Would definitely recommend it to anyone with a few folks and a few pets that they book this property. 10/10 - would recommend and do it again!

Wonderful cabin in the woods!

This was a perfect weekend getaway for us and our teenagers. We grilled out and had a campfire both nights. We loved the log cabin, and the entire area is absolutely stunning every season of the year! Carrie made us feel welcome and the process easy.

Cozy Ski Chalet

We had a great time at this property - it’s location to Hunter Mountain was perfect for our ski weekend. Carrie is a phenomenal and helpful host. She was quick to answer every question and extremely easy to talk to over Vrbo. The atmosphere is very cozy and the pool adds a really fun aspect. Thanks again, Carrie!

We had an amazing weekend. The area is beautiful. The cabin was everything we hoped it would be.

Checking in was a breeze. The cabin is wonderful along with the property it sits on. We spent hours playing in the creek that is a stones throw from the cabin. We will definitely rebook for next year.

Great weekend with family

The pool was cool, but the creek was running, and we did some good exploring! Classic cabin, unfortunately the internet was good, so everyone else had just as good of a time as I did.

Perfect family vacation!

This cabin exceeded expectations! Beautiful, clean cabin in the perfect location. We were on a family snowboarding vacation and were very close to Hunter Mountain. Check in was effortless and we found the cabin very clean and the owner was very responsive throughout the whole process. The indoor pool was a great bonus! Would definitely recommend and will definitely return!

It was a great cabin and we enjoyed all the nature around it!

It was a cozy cabin and we enjoyed the nature around it. I was dissapointed that we were unable to use the pool because the water was foggy and so cold. I had called ahead of time to make sure the pool would be in full working condition, but upon our arrival it was foggy and very cold. We were never able to get the heat to work. We called the person that was suppose to help us resolve any pool issues but he called us back towards the end of our stay. My kids we so bummed and sad!! We got a small refund back from the owner but I was still upset because this was a huge reason we booked the cabin, and I had made a call about 4 -5 days before to confirm the pool would be good to use. I was told it would be. Other than the pool issues it was a nice place to relax.

Wooded retreat

The Mannix Chalet (log cabin design) is fairly secluded from other houses on the mountain. Because it is uphill on a dirt/gravel road, having good tires or 4-wheel drive is helpful. The cabin is well appointed with comfy sofas in the great room, an enclosed fireplace, adequate cooking & dining equipment, plates & utensils. (Don't expect to find any left-over food or condiments from previous renters). Bring food with you because grocery shopping is not particularly close by (Tannersville is your best bet). And bring your own garbage bags. Not very suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The staircases up to the loft and down to the bedroom & pool level are very steep. You can go out the main level door, down a short hill and go through the ground-level door. There is a nice porch where you can sit and look out at mountains. The setting in the woods with a walk to a stream is lovely. (If you are bringing dogs, make sure you do a tick check!) Double check that the pool is useable. It was being treated two days of our stay so we couldn't use it. The cabin was spotless, but there was a bit of stray paper & a couple bottles & a few other trash items outside, a little ways from the cabin. We were 3 adults, so having 3 separate sleeping rooms was perfect. And our dogs liked the cabin also.

Amazing city getaway

Before I review--I want to preface that if you are someone who prefers fancy hotels and are high-maintenance this might not be the place for you. My group was looking for a nature getaway from the city and after reading the reviews we managed our expectations as far as amenities go. This is a secluded cabin located in the middle of nowhere, which we loved. The cabin was rustic and absolutely beautiful. Having coffee on the balcony with a view of the woods and the mountain was my favorite part. The place was very clean but it was a little inconvenient that we had to our own bring sheets, towels, soap, toilet paper and paper towels (make sure you bring all of this). The pool was great to have, there was a heater in there so it was a comfortable temperature for the fall/winter. It was super spacious and there was fire put/bbq for outdoor entertainment. The entrance was unpaved. It wasn't too much of an issue but I could see how this could be tough in the winter time if you don't have the right car. The stairs are very steep so be mindful of this if you plan to bring kids. The location was near a lot of beautiful hikes and a cute town where you could grab a bite to eat. Finally, make sure you bring plenty of bottled water because the water smelled eggy so we avoided brushing our teeth with it. Carrie was very responsive and super friendly/helpful when answering my questions. We had an amazing time and would definitely come back!
