Advertised as one thing (apparently Hotels.com won’t let me say what, so I have had to re word my initial complaint), when I checked in, I was given something completely different. Suffice to say, when I booked I was not expecting to be staying in a bedroom in someone’s house. Unable to get a refund dispute the proof I supplied that the booking was misrepresented. “Simon, the landlord, was personable and very helpful. We had both dinner and breakfast which were very nice. Our room was fine and the bathroom facilities adequate. The property generally could do with a bit of tlc but, that said, we had a nice stay.”
