Absolutely beautiful Farmhouse -very peaceful and relaxing - it was a perfect getaway for my family and I - close to the Lake and Town - we visited an Alpaca Farm about 25 minutes from the House and even swam in the Lake. The Farmhouse is exactly like advertised.

Beautifully remodeled farmhouse with everything you need! Great location, closer to Seven Points Marina than we thought, close to town for grocery shopping and getting frozen custard at The Meadows! Plus, a bottle of wine to welcome us was an added treat to enjoy with our dinners. We will definitely be returning in the future!

Beautiful location in the mountains above Raystown Lake. Renovated farmhouse that maintained its old charm while updating to modern features. Ample space for family with covered back porch that’s perfect for morning coffee and dinner on deck. Easy drive to Huntingdon and Seven Points Marina. Hosts were very attentive to creating a space with all the necessary amenities and much more. Such a wonderful stay!

An incredible stay!

Chris' home is simply stunning. Everything was better than it was in the pictures. The house was well stocked and immaculate. I love the view of Raystown lake from the top floor balcony. My favorite part, though, was simply sitting on the porch, enjoying the vistas (with a cup of coffee, of course!) and enjoying the near constant gentle breeze. I hope to visit again in the future!

Family getaway

Weekend getaway with family was wonderful ! The farmhouse was amazing It was so peaceful and relaxing in a beautiful area close to the lake. The host Chris , was super with communication and upkeep of the place! We were welcomed with a bottle of wine We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay

Excellent Place

We’ve been staying around Raystown for several years. This was by far the nicest place we’ve ever stayed. The property was absolutely stunning. The house was lovely, super clean, furnished nicely, and the host was great. Would definitely recommend!

Our stay here was great! Chris was great to communicate with and was accommodating with any of our requests. The property was immaculate and well kept. The home was beautiful, and the back porch was so peaceful. I wish we could have stayed longer! We definitely recommend staying here and plan on returning ourselves!

Fall 2024 Boys Trip

The house and property were perfect. The house was recently renovated and everything was brand new, and yet there was still a rustic feel to the place. Lots of room for us to spread out and plenty of space outside to roam around. We had a great time.

Juniata Trip

This is a cozy, well restored 100 years old farmhouse at the end of a quiet, private street. Conveniently located 10 minutes from Huntingdon. Easy check in and check out with hosts. We would recommend it to anyone and plan on staying again in this property.

Peaceful Family Time

We relaxed and enjoyed family time, and we had everthing we needed. The cabin comfortably accommodated all 5 of us. We had room to cook, sit on the back deck, and play games. We spent most of our time in the cabin rather than go out. Due to the wet weather, we didn't get to use the fire pit but hope to on another visit. We highly recommend Chris and Jackie's property to others and want to come back ourselves!

Weekend Getaway

Chris and his family did an amazing job on this renovated farmhouse! We stayed the weekend with family and we didn't get enough time on the property to explore, but will definitely be coming back. The beds were very comfortable and every morning we watched the sun come up as we enjoyed out coffee on the rocking chairs on the deck. Chris, was a wonderful host and we will definitely be staying at one of his three (3) homes in the area in the near future!

College reunion

Four friends that had not seen each other in MANY years decided we needed a reunion. We had zoomed frequently the past several years but had not been together in person. We chose Huntingdon as it was as close to midway as we could get. The farmhouse was lovely and very comfortable. You can tell the hosts took great care and pride when renovating the old farmhouse! We had everything we needed and are already talking about meeting again next year at the same location if it is available! Thank you to our hosts!!

Beautiful property

This home is so beautiful and charming, and the location was perfect for us. It was conveniently located near the Snyder's Run boat launch. Check-in was so easy, and Chris was very accommodating.

Amazing renovation!

Beautifully renovated farmhouse—stunning work, really! We were visiting with other family so we did not get enough time on the property but truly hope to come back. Peaceful, cozy, comfortable beds and couches. Tiny kitchen but adequately stocked. The porches and deck were amazing and view of the lake from the balcony was a treat. Perfect size for our family. Surprisingly quiet from room to room and very peaceful setting. Coffee on the rocking chairs on the porch was a gift. Thank you, Chris, for the wonderful stay!
