La nostra stanza era una matrimoniale con divano trasformato in letto (a detta di mia figlia abbastanza comodo) grande. Buona la cena sia al ristorante che al bar (c’è la possibilità di mangiare qualcosa anche lì). C’è anche un altro ristorante dove servono burger ma non l’abbiamo provato. “Had a very comfortable stay at Smiddy Haugh. Very clean and comfortable room with nice toiletries in bathroom. Owners were very welcoming and made us aware of all relevant information, I.e. heating, dining, check out, car parking. We had a delicious breakfast and would certainly recommend and visit again.”

La cucina era chiusa ma ci hanno fatto accomodare e ci hanno offerto toast e birra dato che non avevamo cenato ed eravamo stanchi. Questa mattina ci hanno aiutato con l’auto. “I arrived a bit early. Nobody wS there, save a sign and two phone numbers to call. I reached someone, and was asked to wait a few minutes. A bit later, i checked in. Bags were carried for me. and i was shown how the electric worked. A nice touch was the cooked to order complimentary breakfast the next morning. Save for those first few minutes, my stay was fine.”

“Stay was absolutelly perfect! We spend Hogmanay (Scottish New Year) there and the dinner and overall experiences was absolutelly remarkable. The site is also immersed into nature and the River Tay is in front of the main building offering visitors lots of options to walk and go fishing. The hotel is superb, rooms are spacious and clean. “The room was spotless, warm and spacious. We opted for Deluxe room which was situated in the annexed building on ground level. The staff were extremely welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful. Plenty of storage and coat/clothes hanging space. Being in a rural spot, we found it very peaceful. A large car park is sited just across the road, which links Perth and nearby Glenfarg.
