“It is easy to find and a good car part. From there it just got better. There was a lively welcome as we entered the bar and very efficient check in. The room was very new well looked after. We had dinner in the carvery and then worked on our laptops in the bar afterwards. The bed was very comfortable, strange for a hotel I find, and slept very well. The only downside is the hot water in the shower does take an age to arrive but once it does, there is plenty of it. We will return.”

Lovely clean single room (Room 5) with plenty of electrical sockets and very comfortable duvet and bed, great breakfast in the morning and friendly staff, what more can I say? We were celebrating a birthday and the birthday boy was given a balloon, beer and card, to make the event more special. The staff were friendly. The tasting menu was delicious and substantial. The breakfast was a must and worth staying over for. The little extra, the home made granola, yoghurt with fruit compote were an unexpected delight. We left with a homemade chilli jam. ”
