    The Space:

    Inside the cabin, you'll find a warm, rustic ambiance created by rich wooden walls and floors. The 2 cozy bedrooms feature new queen size Endy mattresses and lots of windows to let in natural light. The living area is equipped with a smart TV, a futon for extra guests, a dining table with 4 chairs. The Kitchen has everyting you need to cook. Bathroom is newly renovated with new toilet and vanity and a walk in shower.

    Hunts Point, Nova Scotia, is a tranquil coastal community located in the Region of Queens Municipality, about 10 minutes west of Liverpool along Highway 3. Situated on the South Shore, it offers stunning Atlantic Ocean views and a serene atmosphere, ideal for a peaceful getaway. The area features a small, crescent-shaped beach tucked into a protective cove, perfect for building sandcastles or exploring rock pools. Nearby, Hunts Point Wharf buzzes with fishing industry activity. The region is rich with natural beauty, including coniferous and deciduous forests, and trails for hiking and biking. Historic towns like Liverpool, Lunenburg, and Mahone Bay, with their museums and shops, are within a short drive, adding cultural appeal.



    Getting Around:

    In Hunts Point, NS, the best way to get around is by car, as the area is rural with limited public transportation. A personal vehicle allows easy access to nearby towns like Liverpool (10 minutes away) or Lunenburg (about 45 minutes). Roads are well-maintained, and parking is available next to each cabin. For shorter distances, walking or biking is feasible, with scenic trails and coastal paths to explore, though a bike would be ideal for convenience. Taxis or rideshares are scarce, so plan accordingly.

We were looking to extend our vacation time in this area of Nova Scotia and saw that this cottage was available. It served as an excellent base for visiting Liverpool, the Kejimkujik seaside area, and the Thomas Raddall provincial park. We enjoyed hiking all these areas too. The cottage was clean, neat, well stocked with essentials, and the views from the windows were spectacular with constant sights and sounds from the ocean filling our senses. The chairs on the porch overlooking the beach were a nice touch and were used each day. Sydney was a great host and responded quickly to questions.

We stayed in the cottage right next to the beach. The cottage was comfortable and clean. It was well equipped for a vacation stay. The entrance to the beach was right next to us, making it easy for us to get to/from the beach (important due mobility challenges), and we got to meet a few people by virtue of that proximity too. Sydney was positive, accommodating, and quick to respond. Great stay, already have another stay booked.

My sister and I recently spent a single night at this charming oceanfront cottage, and it was nothing short of unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the soothing sound of waves on white sandy beaches and breathtaking coastal scenery. To the left of the cottage, we could see a working shoreline with fishing boats moored by the wharf and weathered shacks along the water. As night settled in, red beacons blinked both near and distant, flashing softly through the darkness.The cottage itself offered the perfect balance of peaceful seclusion and gentle connection to the surrounding landscape. It was fully equipped with all the amenities we needed, making it easy to relax and feel at home from the moment we stepped inside. We spent most of our time on the porch, wrapped in the cool fall air, simply watching and listening to the ocean. The night was restful and serene — the beds wonderfully comfortable — and there’s nothing quite like drifting to sleep to the rhythm of the waves and waking to the same gentle sound.The hosts were warm and welcoming, and the entire booking process was seamless from start to finish. They also made themselves readily available for any questions or concerns, which made our stay feel even more comfortable and cared for. This stay was a truly rejuvenating experience, and we’re already looking forward to returning to this little slice of coastal paradise. Highly recommended.
