Guest house a Husavik

“Struttura vecchia e lasciata andare. Bungalow per 4 persone piccolissimo. Pulizia scarsa. Aprendo l'acqua calda esce acqua solforosa e tutto il bungalow puzza di uovo marcio, quindi si può usare solo l'acqua fredda. Fare la doccia neanche a parlarne. Prezzo decisamente caro si paga solo la posizione. Non rispondono alle mail, non rispondono su Expedia e nemmeno al telefono. Si trova di molto meglio.”

“Terribile, abbiamo viaggiato in tutto il mondo in strutture diverse naturalmente, ma mai trovato una camera così piccola ad un PRezzo così alto. Camere lontane dalla struttura principale, oltre la strada in mezzo al niente. Nella struttura principale troviamo ristorante e stalle adiacenti, con possibilità di vederle con vetrate da dove mangiamo o facciamo colazione. “Bungalow spazioso e molto ben tenuto, parcheggio subito di fronte , posizione lontano da centri abitati e per questo struttura assolutamente silenziosa e tranquilla; ristorante annesso con buona cucina casalinga e dosi abbondanti!!! Jacuzzi a cielo aperto per momento di relax. Personale gentilissimo. NON ho nulla di cui lamentarmi.”

“Interesting property that was once a boarding school. Was there in the off-season and there were no dining options available. There is a very rustic restaurant about 10 miles North of this property. The only other option was the town of Hick 25 miles Southwest. If you were traveling to Northern or eastern Iceland, it’s wise not to let you fuel get below half a tank and keep some extra food in the car in case you find yourself in a village where everything is closed at 6 PM. “Thank you for the great stay, the rooms were beautifully decorated and comfortable. Kettle right in the room was so convenient. Check in was easy! Loved the breakfast in the morning. The surroundings were lovely, especially watching the horses. Also booked a 2 hour seaside tour and it was amazing! Staff was friendly and helpful! Its also a short drive to Husavik where there were restaurants and other amenities, so very convenient location as well.”

“I only stayed at Vogar Travel Service for a night, but had a great experience. It was easy to find and no need to check-in with anybody. They emailed me the door codes. The shared bathrooms were clean. There is a full kitchen to use. I would like to try camping here next time. There are not a lot of food options in the evening. ”

The owners went out of their way to answer all my questions about their sheep farm, the cost of energy, and more. Very welcoming and friendly people. ”

“This was one of the most anticipated stops along our road trip. We were only able to stay one night due to availability but we would have loved to stay longer. The place was very quiet, peaceful and romantic. The space was mindfully designed and very visually appealing. I can tell the owner out a lot of thought into the interior design. The heated floors + heated towel rack made the place even more cozy. We enjoyed the stars in the jacuzzi but unfortunately didn’t see the northern lights...
