“Class is a nice, simple hotel and spa (we didn’t use the spa). It was clean and in a quiet part of town. It was not really walkable to any convenient stores or restaurants (you probably could walk, but there are no sidewalks and as soon as you walk a half-Kilometer, the traffic is pretty heavy - so not too safe). “All was lovely. The staff were pleasant. Typical Javanese Breakfast of rice, noodles, tempeh and coffee was good. The room was nice and location was on a quite Street just off of Ijen with several local restaurants nearby. We were hoping to extend our stay for a week but the WiFi was nonexistent and we could not get cell service in the room. WiFi worked okay in the lobby just outside but because of this we found another hotel just around the corner.”

“Wonderful boutique hotel. Very clean and comfortable room with great bed and plenty of hot water. There was a little construction noise from The property next door but that won’t last forever. The area is a clean and quiet neighbourhood with some nice cafes and bars just a short stroll down the street from the hotel. Great freshly prepared breakfasts every morning and a very cosy stay. “This is the best place to stay in the central city, especially if you want to walk around and enjoy the beauty of Malang. "The room and the breakfast were ok, but some improvement in cleanliness might be done. The towels provided we very old (threadbare), the soap dispenser in the shower had some rusted parts which implied some rust pieces were released with the soap at each release and the shower had some molded sealings. The pillow sheets also didn't smell good, as if they had been kept in a dusty place or just not properly cleaned. "
