“It’s a premier inn Self check in seemed ok a bit impersonal On arrival we were early and no power in hotel but all good we returned later It’s on a courtyard shared with sainsbury Penrith itself isn’t very inviting but the hotel is ok”

“All good, nice clean room, good selection of beers and wine, decent area outside if weather permits, and a very enjoyable meal in the evening. The village itself is very quiet, but would certainly recommend if looking for an overnight stay to break up a journey north or south.”

“Lovely cottage with all the amenities that we required. Situated in a quiet village within close proximity of Penrith. Nice welcome box with tea, coffee etc and even treats for the dog. Good offroad parking at the back of the cottage and an enclosed front garden. Stayed for a week, excellent location for exploring Hadrians wall, lake district and yorkshire dales. ”

“The property is in need of a 'refresh' as it's getting 'tired' but, provided you aren't bothered about 4 star luxury it represents good value. The food is good.”

“Set on a working farm in beautiful countryside with far reaching views. The property was lovely & clean & contained everything needed for a relaxing stay. A very comfortable bed, a lovely shower with plenty of hot water & the property was lovely & warm. There was plenty if onsite parking. Whilst we didn’t need to contact the hosts we knew they were close should we have need them. Lovely welcome pack on arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & will certainly return if we visit this area in the...

“La camera era sufficiente ma non spaziosa però il contesto davvero notevole. Il personale molto gentile. Il Pub accogliente con una cucina ottima. Le sale comuni dotate di biliardo ed altri giochi. Intorno una campagna piena di animali ed una natura esuberante. Un posto che vale il traggitto per raggiungerlo. Menzione speciale per i maialini da compagnia....”
