Cottage a Hythe

“This is a lovely place to stay. Chris and Maureen are really helpful, and were very good with the enhanced cleaning/social distancing. It is in a central location, with good access to lots of places such as Dover, Canterbury and Hastings. We would definitely recommend! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo”

“I stayed in this gorgeous cottage/annex for one month. It is furnished to a very high standard and is probably the nicest place I have ever stayed for comfort, cleanliness and having every imaginable appliance in the kitchen.Everything is done with great care, the welcome hamper full of goodies, fresh flowers on the table., books, magazines, extra towels in the bathroom. Lovely bathroom with a super shower. Spring flowers emerging in the garden, beautiful location in the Elham Valley area with...

“the cottage was lovely the only nuisance was next door had 5 dogs which were noisy l did not mind much because l like dogs but for someone who wants a quiet getaway will not get it but the cottage was great.”

“Amount of things supplied, didn't really need half the stuff we took. Excellent flat. Well equipped. Nice set up. Bonus bottle of wine. Lovely views. Apart from stairs everything was perfect, even stairs I coped with. Can't praise it enough.”

“Great location and with a parking space albeit very tight to get the car down the lane and we don’t have a large car. House was as described but very basic and just felt like not a lot of thought had gone into the decor and making it homely. Just a couple beach pics on the walls. Outdoors furniture was dirty. TV in the bedroom didn’t work. Bed was small and a bit uncomfortable. Downstairs toilet was dirty. Shower leaked and difficult to get in and out of the bath with the large shower...

“A lovely stay in a perfectly-located cottage tucked away. Nicely decorated and perfect amount of space for 1-2 guests. ”

“We first visited Helvetia in 2018, Little has changed, other than improvements to the Sun Room. It's a nice place to stay for a short break away from it all.”

“A wonderful cosy, quirky cottage, deep in the Kent countryside. Ideal location for walking dog owners, a couple looking for a romantic break or friends. Perfect for a short winter break. Lovely log burner. Relaxing and peaceful. A word of warning, very steep stairs. Felt like we were on a boat at times as the floors upstairs slope so much. This place has real character though and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, seeing the New Year in. Highly recommend.”

“Very nice two bedroom in the city center. It was perfect for my wife and I visiting the city for a few days.”
