“Only stayed for one night. Room was spotlessly clean and bed comfy. Arrived late and food looked amazing but had already eaten! Breakfast the following morning was great. I would definitely stay again”

“Positives: Hotel was clean, quiet and newish. Breakfast goodish. Negatives Bed too soft. Room nyc-like small. My card was overcharged at the front desk compared to the amount I was expecting as per expedia. When I advised the front desk they were was not particularly understanding or even believing. I had to show my expedia booking on my phone to be believed: the desk person mentioned there was a disconnect between expedia and the hotel systems, whatever that means. “Lovely house in middle of countryside. So was very peaceful & 3 walks near by. Would recommend and stay again. Lovely breakfast with all anyone could need. Far nicer then staying in city hotels.”

“I had a really wonderful time staying here. The breakfast was very tasty, the garden was beautiful and I felt really looked after. I would definitely come back again! Only small issue was the parking. Luckily it is not busy so there is parking at the back but I can feel this might come to issue since it's a small car park and you dont want to park on the side of the road but tbh this is very minor and it's a bit nitpicking as I have really enjoyed my stay.”

“Villa di campagna inglese molto bella con giardino. La nostra camera era di quelle piccole ma spaziosa a sufficienza con letti singoli comodi. Bagno pulito e dotato dei comfort necessari anche se non molto spazioso. Colazione eccellente, ricca di prodotti freschi cucinati sul momento. Parcheggio in loco di fronte alla struttura. Malgrado la posizione isolata, si puo' raggiungere Exeter in 15 minuti su strade comode da percorrere.”

“The hotel is new & the staff friendly. It’s a shame you have to pay for parking & get tea/coffee/water from outside the room. There was also a flashing light behind the TV, which impacted sleep.”

“It’s a lovely cottage which contains pretty much all you need. It’s very warm inside and there are lovely features. We were greeted with a bottle of wine, some biscuits and milk which was very thoughtful. Improvements would be that 3 people wanted a shower but the hot water ran out after 1.5 people. Also there were a few cobwebs around and it could do with a paint touch up here and there. Great value for money and we had a lovely stay.”
