“Un appartement parfaitement équipé pour un long séjour (lave-vaisselle, lave linge, congélateur, fer à repasser…). Très bien équipé et propre. Un joli petit balcon avec une vue sur la marina et Pico. Idéalement situé pour profiter d’Horta. Une personne adorable à l’accueil et un prix imbattable pour couronner le tout ! Au top”

“Muchas gracias a Julia y Beatriz por la facilidad de comunicación y ayuda con todo. El apartamento estaba muy limpio, en perfectas condiciones y la cama muy cómoda. Está todo muy nuevo y tiene todo lo necesario.
Por ponerle algo negativo es que a ciertas horas del día es imposible aparcar en los alrededores y que no tiene ascensor, por lo que subir con maletas si te toca una habitacion en plantas altas se hace pesado.”

“We stayed one night at Pousada Forte de Horta and absolutely loved it. The hotel is full of character with a unique historical charm — you really feel like you’re stepping into a piece of Azorean history. The location is unbeatable, right inside a fortress overlooking the marina, with a breathtaking view of Pico Island across the water. The room was comfortable, the staff friendly, and the atmosphere peaceful. Wish we had more time here!”

“ogni volta che vado a Horta cerco di prenotare questa struttura perché lo trovo un gran bell'hotel, comodo anche per andar in spiaggia, non distante dal centro, anche se ora il porto l'hanno spostato all'altra estremità della cittadina. Ti senti come a casa e il personale è sempre molto disponibile. Buona colazione, camera enorme e molto bella”

“Stay was amazing. The location was great, cafe right next door and easy walk to pier and restaurants. Owner is super sweet, helped us get a ride to airport and was cheaper than a taxi. Also has laundry services which helped tremendously. Would stay there again no question!”

“We stayed in the garden loft and it was an amazing experience. The location is extremely remote and quiet and really makes you feel like you are alone on the island of Faial. The staff treated us very well and when they heard we would miss breakfast for an early ferry they made us a togo breakfast the day before and put it in our refrigerator. The lodge is family owned and are very welcoming. Great experience!!”

"Il posto e bellissimo e silenzioso con una vista sul mare a due passi. Le camere sono basiche ma ordinate e pulite. Il bagno rilascia però un po' di odore di fogna....ma nel complesso e un posto accogliente e affascinante."

"We had a magic stay in this house. Everything inside is wooden made by the owner, Tino, who will help you finf everything you need (car, trails, markets and so on). The kitchen is stunning, the garden perfect for some yoga lessons. We feel at home. Thank you Tino, "
