My single room was quite small and essential, but overall good value for money. Conveniently located for canoeing on the river and for visiting Mertola town centre and historic monuments.”

“Stopping in this house was one of the best experience in our two week trip. I wish we stayed here longer, but we had to return our car next morning in Lisbon. You feel submerged into the Portuguese rural cultural environment. Awesome views around the place, clean air, super quiet, and there's a nice big pool. Better than any 5 star hotel. When we were leaving, some people with Swiss plates came. We'll stop there again for sure!”
