“This was a neat little hotel in the middle of Lunenburg looking down at the Bluenose II from our balcony. Also had a Craft Brewery right outside of our door. The only negative is the size of the bathroom - pretty small.”

“There is only street parking, also the bed was not very comfortable. The showet in the room with the balcony was very tight if you are a bigger person. But restaurant and bar were excellent which are right next door.”

“Close to Halifax but in a quieter area with a nice view. Room was clean and nice with a cool skylight. Decent internet connection. You can chrome cast to the tv which is also nice. Cleanest bathroom I’ve seen anywhere I’ve stayed in a long time. Liked having a kitchenette in the room and large fridge. In walking distance to some good local restaurants and activities. Tim’s, gas, pharmacy right a cross the road. Will definitely stay here again next time I’m in Halifax. ”

“The Surfside Inn was a perfect location to branch out and explore the southshore. With Queensland Beach across the road, we could dip our toes in the Atlantic right away. Our room was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated with nods to the Inn’s Victorian roots with the perfect touch of fresh and modern. Having a sitting area and spacious bathroom were wonderful.”

“The property owners were welcoming and responsive. We were greeted by a onsite staff member who checked us in and showed us to our room. We were pleased to have a unit at the back of the property. Although there was no view of the bay, this was off set by having a fireplace, small kitchenette area, and a patio area. We were very pleased with the property. ”

“The property was very clean and the view was amazing! Spacious room and newly renovated bathroom. Piles of restaurants within walking distance and located right on the Harbour. Could not beat the location. The only downside was that the listing said there was free offsite parking. This was true between 5 pm to 10 am only, otherwise you had to feed the meter, which in our case only cost $5. It was totally worth renting and we'd definitely return. ”

“The owners are lovely and so welcoming! Though the inn is older, it’s spotless, and has all the amenities of home. We had a king suite and we had a balcony to watch the sun set. Highly recommend! ”
