The Modern Indio | Pool+Spa Home

The Modern Indio provides a wonderful retreat for large groups looking for a comfortable and relaxing space in Coachella Valley. The two-story home provides 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms allowing for up to 18 guests. Each bedroom with the exception of the bunk room features a 50-55` smart tv connected to all popular streaming services (no cable provided). The upstairs master bedroom offers a king bed, an ensuite bath with a large walk-in closet, designated office space, and access to the balcony overlooking the pool and nearby mountains. There are 3 additional bedrooms upstairs share a full bathroom; 2 rooms offering a queen bed and the last bedroom offering 2 queen beds. The remaining 2 bedrooms are downstairs and share a hallway bathroom. One bedroom has a king bed and access to the backyard via a sliding glass door and the other a full over full bunk bed with a twin trundle. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and is fully stocked with all the necessities needed for prepare a full family meal. The garage has been converted to a spacious game room with an 8 feet billiard table, foos-ball table, a mounted connect four, and a 75` smart tv. There are plenty of space to spread out whether in the game room, living room, or dining room.

The backyard has a large pergola with 4 ceiling fans to provide shelter from the desert sun. The yard has 2 sofas, a propane bon fire pit, 8-person table for al-fresco dining, a couple of lounge chaises, and lastly a professional size table tennis. The pool and spa can be heated (additional cost) and controlled through an app on any android/apple phone.

This home accommodates up to 18 guests with 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Additional spaces include a fully stocked kitchen, living room, dining room, den, laundry area, and garage. Our kitchen is stocked with an extensive list of small appliances, cookware, dinnerware and utensils needed to prepare almost any family meal. We provide a starter kit of seasonings including salt, pepper and olive oil. Please inquire with our team if you would like a complete list of all our cookware and small appliances.
We provide a starter kit of consumables for your stay which includes: paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, hand soap, coffee, tea, sugar, laundry pods, dryer sheets, toilet paper, make up remover, shampoo, conditioner, body gel and a welcome gift basket. This list is only intended as a starter kit; If you run out of consumables then you must be purchase additional items yourself. We also provide body towels and pool towels for the occupancy of the home, plus a set of hand towels and wash towels.

●Pool and Spa: Smart automation system with easy spa control access, 2 sun lounge chaise, patio umbrella (Pool heating $75/day, spa heating $25/day). The pool and spa cannot be heated simultaneously as is normal with most pool/spa systems. The heater can only heat one at a time. If you would like to purchase pool and spa heating, we will heat the pool before you check in so that it will stay warm even when spa heating is in use. (Note: Left-side pool waterfall feature is not available).

Cancellations and Refunds:
Any refunds issued as a result of a guest cancellation will exclude the payment processing fee, unless the California Cancellation Policy is applicable.

- HOUSE RULES/ POLICIES --

1. As per the City of Indio Policy for Vacation Rentals, outdoor Quiet Hours are between 9PM - 8AM Sunday-Thursday and 10pm-8am Friday and Saturday. During Quiet Hours amplifying devices or music is prohibited outdoors. Outside of Quiet Hours, music or other outdoor noise is acceptable as long as it is not heard past the property line. All units are equipped with Minut volume tracking devices which will alert our team if outside noise becomes unreasonable.

2. Spa heating and pool heating are extra services: $25/day for spa heating and $75/day for pool heating which the pool will be heated to 85 degrees. The pool and spa cannot be heated simultaneously, as the heater can only heat one at a time. If you would like to purchase pool and spa heating we will heat the pool before you check in so that it will stay warm even when spa heating is in use. If you’d like the pool heated, we require a 24 hour advanced notice to give the pool ample time to heat. A minimum of 3 consecutive days is required for pool heating, OR, for the entire duration of your stay if it`s less than 3 days.
- Note: Left-side pool waterfall feature is not available.

3. Early check in at 1PM ($150) and late check out at 2PM ($150) is available for an extra fee ONLY if there are no back to back bookings to allow for proper cleaning.

4. Minimum 25 years of age to book.

5. SOME pets are allowed for an extra fee ($150/pet). Please consult with the owner before bringing the pet. Maximum of 2 pets. Pets are not allowed in the pool or on the bed. While we do allow some pets with prior approval, a $500 fine will be imposed for any presence or evidence of unapproved pets found within the premises.

6. No more than 6 vehicles allowed.

7. No smoking inside the home. Evidence of smoking inside the home will result in a minimum fine of $750.

8. Any missing or damaged linen, towels or small appliances will be charged via your booking platform.

9. An additional cleaning fee of $150 applies to stays of 28 nights or longer. This fee is payable promptly following booking confirmation.

10. A mid-stay cleaning is required for stays of 60 nights or longer. A $195 cleaning fee applies and will be collected after the booking is confirmed.

11. The Coachella Music Festival dates, April 8–12 and April 15–19, and the Stagecoach Music Festival dates, April 22–26, require booking Thursday through Sunday nights during those periods.
