“Amazing price for our room and two meals! We stayed one night, with dinner and breakfast included at an amazing price, we were so impressed. The fact that you get free drinks at check in and with dinner is incredible given the rates in low season. Amazing deal! Please keep in mind that you really need your own transport to stay here. The hotel is off by itself, with great views, but nothing immediately nearby. ”

“丹後ウルトラマラソンで二泊させていただきました。男性の宿泊客が多かったのか、女子風呂は2日ともほぼ貸切で、ゆっくりくつろげました。朝風呂も露天風呂貸切で最高！ スタッフの方も丁寧な対応で好感が持てました。食事は最終日の朝ごはんだけいただきましたが、品数も多く大変美味しかったです。周辺の飲食店は沢山はなさそうでしたが、近くにレストランはありました。また丹後に行くときには利用したいと思います。”

“If you want to take a step off the beaten track in Japan this is a very good option. The hotel is situated in a very good place to explore the Kyoto on Sea area (this is not Kyoto city). The Hotel will send a minibus at certain times of day to pick new visitors up from the railway station. The hotels offers visitors free bike hire for 4 hours and is relatively close to the bus route for exploring other parts of the area. As this is not a city you are limited in the immediate area for places...

“Il Ryokan è grazioso ed il proprietario è estremamente disponibile nel fornire indicazioni sulla zona, sui mezzi di trasporto e su qualunque cosa possa servirvi. La posizione è pratica per il traghetto e per la fermata dei bus (ad aprile consultate bene gli orari perché la frequenza non è molto alta, non so se sia così anche in altri periodi dell'anno). “Rooms are a bit dated but super clean and well maintained. Staff was awesome, and the breakfast was one of the best I've had at any hotel in Japan. Location is fairly remote, but extremely peaceful, and there are free shuttle busses into Toyooka. Onsen was pretty good and clean. If you are looking for a relaxed time away from the typical tourist bustle, I can highly recommend this hotel. Most guests were elderly and extremely friendly, and it was completely silent at night.”
