“Staff were great, the hotel looked stunning and the grounds were amazing. The breakfast was delicious too. The room we had was in the attic so I kept hitting my head, the main light in the room was above the doorway which was around a corner so didn’t really help at all. There was water and hair in the bottom of the shower when we arrived as if someone had only just had a shower. There were patches of damp in the room around the window and on the ceiling.”

“Lovely hotel. Immaculately clean and decorated. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed and good bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful and of a good standard. Ample parking and well located. Efficient and friendly staff. Highly recommend this property.”

“The inn was okay and the staff were nice. Couldn’t sleep though which is the point of a hotel. Had a road facing room and could hear every single car as it sped by. Torture. The shower was also maybe the worst I’ve had in the last 5 years of constant travel. Felt like someone held a pinched hose over me and there was no water pressure at off peak shower times. ”

“Comfy room, generous towels. Arrived late Friday evening, no bother getting a table in the pub downstairs for food- they don't take table reservations, so I wasn't at a disadvantage. Good wide choice on the menu and attentive service. There was a nightwatchman for after hours- what a treasure! He showed me how to access once the pub was closed, helped me empty the bags from the car and carried them to our room all with a friendly, nothing was too much trouble approach. “The hotel is just in front of the beach, which is good. Unfortunately the hotel is old, the rooms and bathrooms need to be refreshed. I was there in the beginning of June, and the room was humid and I freezed all night long. Not a pleaseant stay.”

“The room was clean and functional. Plenty of parking. The receptionist who checked me in was miserable and didn’t make me feel welcome. Pretty sure I was the only one staying there. The hotel is very tired in most respects. It’s quite isolated also so you need a car to get anywhere. My room was located very close to the A19 so a lot of road traffic noise.”
