Goditi la privacy e le attività di un lago glaciale privato alimentato a molla nella catena dei laghi della catena Fox. A poco più di un'ora da Chicago o Milwaukee. 4 acri con 150 piedi di lungolago e un molo privato. Casa completamente rinnovata nel 2015.

Il lago di Brandeburgo è un lago privato, glaciale, alimentato a molla. Isolato dalla principale catena di laghi Fox, vanta uno dei laghi più puliti dell'Illinois. Perfetto per nuotare e pescare. Il lago consente solo motori elettrici, quindi mantiene l'acqua immacolata per l'abbondante fauna selvatica.

Attività per tutte le stagioni; in inverno, goditi la pesca sul ghiaccio, le piste da sci di fondo del vicino Volo Bog, lo slittino e il rannicchiarsi davanti al fuoco con un libro.

La casa è un grande livello degli anni '50 che è stato completamente rinnovato nel 2015. Goditi un ampio soggiorno, una sala da pranzo, una sala camino e una veranda protetta fuori dalla cucina con vista sul lago. Ogni finestra ha una vista alberata o sul lago. La casa è di 2600 piedi quadrati, oltre a un garage convertito collegato per la ricreazione di 600 piedi quadrati e un portico schermato di 300 piedi quadrati dalla cucina.

È incluso l'intero uso della proprietà; tra cui lago, molo, veranda protetta, pozzo del fuoco, grill all'aperto, tavolo da ping pong, due kayak per adulti, un kayak per bambini, un campo da paddle, giochi da tavolo, giubbotti di salvataggio e paddle board. Completamente rinnovato nel 2015 con cucina completa.

Wi-Fi ad alta velocità e un televisore da 50 pollici dotato di cavo di base.

Tutte le lenzuola vengono pulite secondo i protocolli NSF. Per soggiorni più lunghi, il servizio di lavanderia può essere effettuato in loco a pagamento.

Monitoraggio remoto ADT.

La struttura si trova a breve distanza a piedi / sci di fondo della palude di Volo; un parco statale di passerelle e piste per escursionismo / sci di fondo su "torbiere" uniche. Un grande centro naturale che ospita festival e programmi durante le stagioni.

Altre attrazioni nelle vicinanze: Six Flags, Bristol Renaissance Fair, Wilmont ski mountain, Fox Chain of Lakes (noleggio barche pontone, sport acquatici, ed esplorazione).

40 minuti al Lago di Ginevra, il che rende un'ottima gita di mezza giornata.

Il lago di Brandeburgo dista 1 ora e 20 minuti in auto da Chicago. O 8 minuti in auto dalla stazione ferroviaria di Fox Lake Metra. 1 ora da Milwaukee.

Peaceful, quiet, and relaxing. This was the third year we have rented this house. We continue to love the property and enjoy fishing off the dock, swimming in the pond, and using the paddle boards. It's perfect for 2 families to share - there's enough room for everyone. The screened in porch is the best part of the property.

Great Quiet Escape

This was our second time staying at the property and it was just as great as the first time. The property is private and a nice space to relax. The home and property are always cleans and in amazing shape! Love everything about this home and it is a nice place for families with small children to get away. Playing in swimming and beach area is a great way to spend a day with kids.

Perfect family getaway!

We had a fabulous family weekend at this beautiful lake house and made lifelong memories! This is our third time here and plan to rent again!The house was spotless and full of helpful amenities. The screened porch overlooking the lake is picture perfect! We had a couple of sandhill cranes visit every morning. With a cup of coffee, what a lovely way to start the day!

4th of July Respite

Second time staying here. The place is beautiful in every way. Just a chance to gather with family and spend time with grandchildren away from everyday duties and obligations. Kids love the place and never want to leave. They would spend the entire day in the water if we allowed it. In an effort to enjoy family and give them a little break this place fits the bill.

Perfection

This property is perfect in every way. It is immaculate and very well designed. My grand babies loved the beach area and water. We played down there every day for hours. The adults loved the kayaks out on the calm and quiet lake. Everything about the area and this beautiful home was just perfect. The screened in sun room was the icing on the cake. Not only a great place to sit and relax but a great place for family meals. Loved everything about this place.

Great Summer Get Away

We really enjoyed the house during our hot August weather. Lots of time spent in the water on boats and fishing. The kitchen was well equipped to feed our team of 10. We will be happy to stay again in the future.

Summer Family Vacation

Peaceful and Relaxing Holiday Stay

We elected to stay at this property during Thanksgiving, so I could spend it with my parents near their home, but also far enough away that it felt like a "getaway" location. Overall, the house is amazing. There were 7 of us in all, and we didn't feel squished together. There was plenty of room to handle our group (and more, had I needed). The kitchen was large and accommodated our needs for the holiday - everything I needed was there (utensils, appliances, etc). There was even several rooms to stretch out and relax in, like watching television, cozying up with a book or just taking in the absolutely picturesque view of the lake (the star of the show). Beds were clean and comfy, bathrooms were great. We had plenty of towels and linens to cover all of our needs. I would also like to mention that the property owner is spectacular, answering any questions I had quickly! An additional tip... Waze tells you to go the wrong way to get to the house, sending you down a gravel road to someone else's property - so make sure you watch the address and what road you're on carefully. Once you get it though, it's very very easy! I don't count that against this property, though - it's five stars all the way.

Bliss at Brandenburg Lake House

There was so much to do at the house that we only left to shop for groceries. The kitchen was perfect for making large family meals. We played ping pong every day. Kayaking on the serene lake was everyone’s favorite activity. We sat on the dock and watched the sun set. And fires at night on the beach were a great way to end the day.

Fantastic place

The house and setting were amazing. Better than we could have expected. The kitchen was well equipped for all our cooking requirements. The whole house was spotless and the view to the lake absolutely gorgeous. Sitting on the lanai was a real treat. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting the Chicago area. Super quiet for sleeping and very comfortable beds. All in all an overall excellent experience. Well done to the hosts for providing such a beautiful property to rent.

Wonderful quiet lake house

We stayed with our toddler, baby and the grandparents. Such a great place for young kids. The lake is very quiet and safe. Perfect beach for the toddler. He had a blast trying to catch all the fishes! Beautiful scenery from the screened porch. Amenities are very nice. Host was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Perfect for a family getaway

We had 4 adults and 3 children under 12 years old who went on a family getaway from Chicagoland. The house has been renovated nicely and had all the amenities we needed. The house was located on a private lake in a very quiet area. Our kids loved the kayaks and paddle board. They also had a bedroom to themselves. We spent everyday enjoying the lake, either on the water, fishing or sitting on the beach or in the screened porch. We were looking for a quiet place to getaway and found it. We would definitely come back for a long weekend.

Beautiful Lake House!

This lake house is perfect for our family vacation and we have booked it twice now! Between the beach, dock for fishing, watercraft options, screened porch, and garage/rec room, we have non-stop fun! We are planning to book again next summer!

Family Summer Vacation

The home is beautifully remodeled and very comfortable and the host is responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful week with 4 generations of family from ages 1 to 88. The screened in porch is our favorite room to gather. The kids enjoyed the sand and beach and lots of land to run. The kitchen is roomy and great for preparing and serving meals. We had a wonderful week. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

Lake Life (aka Our Dreamy Story)

Such an incredible gem! We already knew that this home was going to be awesome from the VRBO listing and reviews but it was beyond our expectations! Our family - me, husband, 9 and 7 year old, along with fun Grandma - loved every single inch of this perfectly cozy minimalist home. A few of our favorites - the sunroom, the variety of kayaks, SUPs, fishing gun, the incredible yard, the firepit, the ping pong table, the basement room with two beds perfect for our boys, the peace and quiet, the kitchen window, the uncomplicated and fun decor, the air-conditioning, the dock provided hours and hours of goodness. This perfect home and location was magical and I can't thank you enough for the care that went into making it special for your guests. Our 6 day stay included a train ride to Chicago, which we picked up 10 minutes from home. A visit to Milwaukee to see the Brewers play our home team - The Rockies! 10 out of 10 - would recommend this stay to anyone!

Perfect Family Getaway!

The house was perfect for our family vacation! The access to the lake and beach was very convenient. The beach was bigger than expected and offered hours of sandcastle building fun. The lake was calm and watching sunsets from the beach gorgeous! Highly recommend this property!

Lovely Getaway

Family vacation - lovely house, well equipped and maintained. Everything you could want in a lake house get away. The fisherpeople in our group loved the lake - as it is grassy and had lots of lily pads. We all enjoyed the shore and the beach area - which is cleared of grass and allows for splashing around on shore. The screened porch was the ideal hang out location. We were all very comfortable, and had a great stay.
