“My son and I enjoyed a quick overnight stay in the hill view cabin. The staff was so friendly and welcoming to us when we arrived! We got to trek the trail next to our cabin and it was worth the quick trip up the hill. The cabin decking can use a little bit of a facelift but otherwise, everything was pretty simple and just what was needed. Would definitely return for a longer stay. ”

“My family of 4 enjoyed our stay here. It was not toddler-friendly, but we managed to leave without breaking anything. We loved kayaking on the little lake and enjoyed the short hike. The pool was only slightly heated (during Spring Break) but we got used to the chilly water. The propane grill and hot tub were both awesome. We couldnt get the fire pit to work so we used a lighter to roast marshmallows. Overall I would recommend staying here with kids over 3.”

“Carmel Cottage was the perfect cozy spot for me and my daughter. It was very clean and well appointed. The decor was very cute, think hill country chic, and the surroundings by the lake and pool were nice and quiet. Check in and check out process was easy and seamless and Kelly was very welcoming. We will definitely be back! ”

“This place is perfect for a romantic getaway! The cabin is so nicely furnished and was super easy for check in/check out. The kitchen had plenty of room for us to bring some snacks and drinks. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening and felt like we had plenty of privacy and quiet. The pool area is nicely updated and would be so relaxing when the warm weather gets here. I loved being close to Kerrville when we wanted to go out for a nice dinner, but the location was exactly what I wanted for a...
