“We had a very nice stay at The Guides House and would not hesitate to book there again. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond when we reached out to him. The house was both clean and comfortable. We did have a little trouble with the lockbox but with a little perseverance were able to get it to work. A very positive experience. ”

“Perfect beautiful place for my husband and I with our King Charles Cavalier Spaniel Maggie. Wi-Fi was on and off, required resetting a couple of times. But, we loved the peace and quiet. Was perfect for exploring trails in the area. Moss Lake Trailhead was our favorite. Perfect between Old Forge and Inlet. It was across the road and a little walk from Big Moose Lake and the pic of the gazebo. and the gazebo and docks need some repair. Construction occurring and we just kept away from the area....

“My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights in mid July, celebrating our anniversary. This cabin was beautiful, very clean, very comfortable, the perfect spot to relax. Check in was super easy. The host, Susan was excellent with communication, and had left a welcome basket for us with snacks and drinks and a lovely note, a very nice touch. “The house was very dirty upon arrival. All items such as kayaks and toys were all very old and dirty, no work was done upon arrival, floors were dirty, there was a bunch of cob webs in windows. We were told there would be toiletries and there was only half a roll of toilet paper provided. Back deck appeared as though furniture and deck hadn’t been properly cleaned and the bed sheets were dirty as well. Sadly very disappointed in our stay here. Pictures were not accurate at all.
